HYDE 28760 Dual Head Spray Tip Extension, Silver

For real talk, no bs. It works. I did a house in half the time all by myself. Masking a house is still the same if your a painter but when it comes to painting whole house, wall, whatever. It works when you just want to start the job quick , easy to use, more surface cover. Just make sure your airless sprayer has over 2500psi pump capacity. Just watch out for usual over spray, windy conditions, weather, etc.

I used the Dual Head for the first time this week and works great! I have used larger tips before to get a 24" pattern but normally get a lot of over spray and is harder to control which results in a finish that isn't as good. None of those issues with this extension and I used only a ½ gallon per minute as the larger 24” tips need a ¾ gpm pump. It's also lighter than I thought it would be. Weighs under a pound!! I was also worried about cleaning but it's easy to take apart and clean, same way as a straight tip extension. While spraying, I only needed to overlap about 25% as opposed to the normal 50% overlapping needed with a regular single tip. I totally see the reason for the offset heads… the fan tail from one tip doesn't mess/screw with the fan tail from the other, just like it said on the product card.

I heard about this from a GC who saw it on another job site. I did some research and found it here on Amazon, I saw them at Sherwin Williams, but they were out of stock, I didnt want to wait. Y'all can't believe how this flows, I watched a YouTube video from the guys that made it I guess and it was helpful. I got going right away, it lays down a job qwik. If you're looking to get your job ripped through and look perfect, you need this tool. It was actually fun using a new tool!!

This tool worked really well, it is faster than using bigger tips because it already overlaps in the middle and puts two coats on in one pass. I see the reason the tips are being offset. if you just hold two guns next to each other and spray over each other the finish is choppy and has a weird pattern. But the tips being offset keeps that from happening. none of these issues occur with this extension. i was also able to shut off one side for cut ins around windows and trim. That is a really great feature!!

It took me a couple passes to get the hang of it, but once I figured out this beast, it worked great. I sprayed a full interior of a house in just over half the time as normal... (paid for itself in one day) wooohoooo!Tip from experience...I'm used to 50% overlap when i spray. With this i only had to do 25% overlap. Came out NICE, i used 515 tips with titan 440.

Both tips clogged up a lot but not at the same time. Used latex paint and mixed it up with a cordless drill and mixer attachment. The spray was uneven and the paint was runny. (Probably due to being too close at times)

Works great for priming or first cote, not a good finishing tool
