V.Reader Software -Disney's Cars

My son loved this game. He loved his VReader system. It was an amazing learning tool and fun too!

My daughter, who just turned 4, is an avid "wightning mckween" fan and enjoys electronic games like her v-reader cartridges, the Living Books and Jump Start Toddler 3-D series on PC. She has very much enjoyed the animations in the Cars, Shrek and Little Scientist (Sesame Street) V.Reader cartridges from time she was barely 3 when she received V-reader as a gift, and she still uses all of the cartridges we have for it. There aren't a ton of things that make her outright laugh, but occasionally, one of the animations will catch her as hysterical and she will giggle, replay it, and giggle some more. Sometimes we put it away for a while and take it out again which will help renew her interest and extend longevity of games. Wish it weren't so hard on batteries, but she enjoys it, is starting to click on the words to hear more about them, and so we continue to feed the hungry little electronic monster batteries and new software cartridges. (You can plug it in with an adapter too, but she is very mobile with it.) Great portable toy for long car trips, doctor's office, ...

My son loves this cartridge. It has great color and good images and does wonders in teaching him different things. Keeps his interest and is not too encouragable. Good learning for any you 3-6 year old. Great buy.

My 3 (almost 4) yr old son loved this. The animations are great, voice acting is great, and it's a new story line. He read and re-read it so many times. Well worth the money. I hope they make more.

My son, 4 1/2 years old, got the v-reader and this cartridge for Christmas. He loves the story, the games, and the definitions for certain words in the story. He has definitely learned a lot from it. I recommend this to anyone who has a child who loves the Cars movie.

Never seen the movie but this tape has inappropriate languaue for young children. The cars. All each other names like "your a looser" and racial undertones etc. when I heard that i did t let my toddler use it again. In my opinion... Our four year old is a sponge and hate for him to go around talking to people like that...

Really not worth the price. I thought my nephew can learn and play a lot with this one but there no much story or animations involved. What a waste of money!
