A Toddler Favorite
My 3-year-old absolutely LOVES this toy. It’s simple, colorful, and gives him the fun of having his own “phone” without any screen time. He enjoys pretending to call his grandparents and swipe through the different icons. It’s been a great distraction during car rides and even at the dinner table when we need a moment. It’s also held up pretty well through toddler-level roughness. Definitely one of those toys that’s small, affordable, and gets tons of play time!

Perfect play phone
Got this for my niece since she is drawn towards everyone’s iPhones. She opened it for her first birthday and was immediately obsessed!! It was so cute. Plan to get one for my almost one year old girlie next.

Keeps my daughter entertained in the car
We use this in the car as I typically don’t have many loud toys in my house this way since we have decided we hate the car this is a good distraction for her.

Hell yeah!!! Great toy!
This little phone is a hit with my 10-month-old! The bright colors and sounds keep her entertained for ages. She loves pressing the buttons and hearing the different melodies. It's also surprisingly durable – it's been dropped a few times already and still works perfectly. Definitely a worthwhile purchase!

Ok product - kind of all over the place
My 1 year old is obsessed with stealing our phones and gets angry when we take them back from him (even though we don't show him videos on them or anything really - i just think he sees us carrying them and wants them too). So we got this to try to appease him so he could have his own phone. Seems like the whole family had the same idea and he was gifted 3 different ones for Christmas. This one was the one i got him and I thought it looked like the one with the most bells and whistles that could keep him occupied - also there was a mention of "learning" that suckered me in.In practice this thing is just a noise machine that seems to have very little rhyme or reason to what happens when you push buttons. There is a function where you can put in your phone number so, i assume, you kid can start to memorize your phone number but I discovered this by accident (also questionable why this would be useful). Sometimes the phone seems to just decide that no matter what button you push is it going to make the same annoying noise until you "swipe" to the next screen. There is really no learning aspect to it (but to be fair I don't think any of these types of toys offer any real learning potential - not the point really) . There is one "song" on this that we all laugh at because the words are either completely unintelligible or utter nonsense ("Music, back, dancing in a bag"?). To top it all off my son doesn't really love this toy and it hasn't deterred him from wanting our phones - it occasionally offers him a 3 - 5 min distraction when he is having his diaper changed and then he looses interest.I guess this gets 3 stars because is ok quality, and not really worse than the other two "phones" my son was given. I would say it is unnecessarily complicated for not actually offering anything of value - little kids just smash buttons and older kids would be lose interest in this in a matter of seconds.

Vtech wins!
Seriously, I love this thing. We bought my son this because he will not leave our phones alone. So now it he grabs it, we just give him his own and he's satisfied enough to not chomp all over ours! I do wish the plastic was a bit softer because we all know babies put everything in their mouths, but that's my only complaint. This is a fun interactive toy that I think he will enjoy for a while! We have already bought more than one of these because a short three foot drop onto the wooden floor broke the toy, but I would buy another one even if it happens again. This keeps my kid entertained longer than any other toy he has ever interacted with, and he is currently while I am writing this review 9 months old. Every time we turn it on and go to hand it to him he gets a HUGE grin on his face and reaches out for it! You can even program the Vtech Touch and swipe phone with your home number so that when baby presses that button,it will say your number to them. I love this feature because it's helping them at an early age learn how to contact mom or dad when they need to. The screen lights up when you touch it, and whatever "button" you press on the screen also talks along and says what you press. (IE' press 1 and hear it say 1!)This phone even has fun interactive built in games for baby to play, and the music is cute.

Useless
The phone glitches and will play only a few songs over and over. The instructions state to press and hold the Home button for different noises-this doesn't last long before its back to the usual repetitive sounds. What little is going to understand to press and hold the Home button for 6 seconds anyway? My daughter lost interest in this toy very quickly. She was frustrated it had the repetitive sounds with nothing like a phone. It was also too bulky for her little hands.
