These under cabinet "power strips" are only one component of chain together system. There is no where or way to energize them via hard wire. Frustrated when attempting to install them so I went back on-line. It appears the manufacturer sells an "add on" hard wire device but it only comes in white. It does not come in the Platinum color of the actual power strips. I ordered these 2 months before needing them. Now stuck as 30 days has passed and I can not return them. My only option it appears, is to order the hard wire module in White to add on to the Platinum power strips or throw them away as they are useless unless one also order the other components to this system.

This has modular plugs for connecting to the modular track on one side or both, but just a pigtail for making the wiring connections inside this box. That means a minimum of six connections (three power, two neutral, and ground) between either two wires (if one sided) or three for each. With the length of wire provided in the pigtails, there is just barely enough room for the one-sided connection, I don't think I could have done it if using both sides. Given how modular everything else in this system is, it would be much easier to wire if they'd provide screw connections for each of the circuits, as if this were itself a fixture or outlet.

a nice addition to my track! this works for all my kindles, which are 7", 8" and 10". could be better if it allowed for a slight tilt back of the tablet. as it hangs, the table is straight up and down. this is problem for the thick cases we have the kindles in. the tablets do fit in the cradle but I have to carefully put it up there because the cases thickness causes it to lean a bit forward.

Very pleased with Amazon customer service and refund policy. The control box arrived without the 2 end caps, which I discovered after the electrician had installed the control box as part of an electrical and light system. I contacted the manufacturer's technical support about the end caps. Since it's not possible to order the end caps separately, the only solution was to order another control box. Amazon issued a refund to pay for the 2nd order of the control box. They did not require return of the item, which would mean paying the electrician to uninstall the existing control box and then install the replacement box.The product description should indicate the control box includes 2 end caps needed to install an Adorne power & light system.
