This necklace is even more beautiful in person than on this page. The wiring is delicate so it is comfortable to wear. It is a nice necklace that can be dressed up or down easily. Also, it comes in a pretty handmade envelope/box, which would be a very nice touch if you were giving it as a gift. My only criticism is that I would like it to be longer. It is the right length for me when I have it fully extended, so this is not a major issue.

Haven't worn it yet but it is absolutely gorgeous and I have a sneaking suspicion that I will wear it constantly. It is very beautiful for people with brown eyes.

I wasn't sure of this company when I first purchased the product. They said they were "associated with National Geographic" and I checked out the website and was interested in finding one so I ordered it. I love this necklace! The pearls are real, freshwater pearls and the colors are as pictured. It does not feel like a cheap necklace at all.The thing that I was most impressed with was the packaging and delivering. The necklace came in a beautiful bag with the Novica logo on it. It also included a small booklet about the necklace - that the pearls are from Thailand and how the necklace is made. It also includes a quote from the designer of the necklace. If you go to the actual Novica website and search "River of Gold" (the name of this necklace) you can actually read a biography of the artist and see a picture. I think this is awesome that this company is supporting artisans around the world and paying fair wages for the products made. I initially purchased this product at a discounted price for an unbiased review but I am so happy I have stumbled onto this company! Their products are beautiful. Amazon has a lot of the jewelry and the website has additional products for home decor, apparel, bags, and more, I will absolutely order more from them. It would also make a great gift as it arrives beautifully packaged and would be something unique!

This necklace is exquisite. The craftsmanship is impeccable and is of very high quality. The clasp is great because it is easy to open and put on. The pearls are breathtaking. The necklace has a good weight to it. For this particular necklace the short length is perfect. It can go with any outfit whether it is dressy or casual.
