Clockwork Synergy® Classic Nylon Ballistic watch straps bands

Click on “HELP” at top left corner of home page, then “VIDEO F.A.Q.”, then “CHANGING A NATO WATCH STRAP:” That video saved me a lot of time of trying to figure out on my own how to attach the strap to my son’s watch.----------------------------------------------I recently bought my young son his first watch to help him be more aware of time and not run late for his activities (school, soccer games, etc.). It’s an inexpensive Timex watch with many high reviews. He really likes the watch itself but complained that the band feels uncomfortable; also his school friends commented that the band looks cheap. This is understandable because the original band is a plain, "boring" black color and has Velcro fastening instead of holes.So began the search on Amazon for a replacement watch strap. I came across this Clockwork Synergy watch strap and though it looked attractive. Showed it to my son, and he immediately wanted it. So I purchased it.The strap came with a nice looking hard box (see photos) which, although very nice for the price, seems wasteful because I have no use for it afterward. The strap itself is just like the stock photo on Amazon. It is simple, two-tones, and “cool” looking to a kid. My son really likes his watch much better with this strap. Better looking and feels more comfortable. He is now proud(er) to show his watch - with this new strap - to his school friends who also like it. On the other hand, my son has commented that although this strap feels more comfortable than the original Velcro strap, it is still a little rough and not comfortable to the point of his not noticing it being there. Also, it does take him a long time to put it on and take it off his wrist due to the tight clearance under the metal buckles. However, he is young and, with time, he will be able to do this quicker.This is a nice, stylish, and durable watch strap. At its listed price, it is a good value item. Recommended, especially for young(er) persons.

i thought these thigns are heavy duty. i crashed on a bike, this thing got abrasion seriously. black band on the fabric. nearly torn it open, but my hand was not the major place of impact. the outer ring when u put it on the left hand got stratched pretty badly. but not damaged. not scuffy. but cosmetic damage for sure. they are supposed to shine, and it's the outside so tha tmeans people look right at it. so this band is trashed to wear with ties and shirt.not heavy duty by any means, but super slim and light weight. comfortable too. the end of the band is not finished well enough, but considering no finishing welding ish technic is used, i give it ok. some stitches are not woven evenly. that's details man. work on the details man.i bought 6 bands. this is one of my favorite color. could use better quality control and detail attention.the holes i used the most( i barely used this band for like 1 weeks wear time) are holding so far, but nearby fabric got scratched slightly as well. i merely use it when typing, it might have go against the table..nothing else getting into contact otherwise in my life.it looks really dull.. the colors. could use more shiny coloring. the texture of the woven fabric also looks kind of cheap.not satisfied since i paid like 10 bucks for each after discount.would not pay more than 5 bucks for these. it's just a thin band ffs/but, there is no better producer of these colorful(comparatively) bands. this might be why the quality is not top notch due to lack of peer pressure.

The strap arrived on time and securely packaged.The dimensions were exactly as stated. the actual strap is 11 inches. To be more specific the entire strap is approximately 11.4 inches including the length of the buckle.I have a larger than average wrist circumference of about 7.5 in. The strap is more than long enough to be fitted properly but barely long enough to get the classic "tucking" of the end of the strap back under the last rings. I personally could have used another inch to make it feel more secure and aesthetically pleasing. So keep that in mind. However I think 7 in circumference wrist and below should be fine with the stated length.I have noticed a reviewer mentioning the colour of the strap and that it was with "orange" undertones. I cannot say that I agree. To my eyes this strap is indeed "fire engine/race car" red. The only thing to consider is that Nylon is a plastic and has inherent reflectivity, so when you look at the strap in the light, the light bouncing off of it may give you the illusion of a washed out effect when this is not the case This in conjunction to the surface texture created by the braided nylon strands adds to that effect I believe. I would say that the picture for this product is 95% accurate with respect to colour. At least in my experience.This is a medium thickness almost high quality nylon. You might find others that are comically paper thin and better ones that are more plush. I believe this one would be the "standard" that everyone brings to mind when thinking of a NATO strap. The holes for the tongue of the buckle feel durable and I don't get the impression that the will fray with useThis is indeed a 3-ring NATO strap and not a 3 (or 5) ring zulu strap. Just clarifying because of the blurred picture.The metal hardware appears to be of decent quality. the buckle and rings are not identical as you might find in other permutations of NATO straps. They are high polish finish as opposed to matte and they are flat/squared shaped with rounded corners as opposed to the "racetrack", more miltary-looking shaped rings you might find elsewhere.See DaLuca Ballistic Nylon NATO Watch Strap - Olive (Matte Buckle) : 20mm for an example of, 4 ring NATO strap, Matte hardware, plusher nylon, "racetrack" rings and all identical rings.All in all I am very happy with the quality of the product, especially compared to the price that it was offered.Revitalising the look of your beloved watch could not be simpler or less costly.4/5 stars. would have given 5/5 if it was the plusher thickness nylon.
