This is truly a beautiful led light. The structure and quality finish is flawless. The back box is a simple install to the existing light box with (2) screws. The cost is reflective of the beauty of the light. The instructions are an easy read for someone with very little electrical experience. I would truly recommend this light to others and maybe not because I would like too be the only one owning this fixture. I installed this fixture in the Masterbedroom Bathroom that was recently renovated. The existing light fixture did not compliment the renovated bathroom. I spent several weeks looking for a perfect light fixture with much disappointment. I needed a Brushed Chrome Finish with certain specifications to compliment the Kohler Vanity. This fixture by George Kovacs meet my specifications. Truly a must buy!!!!!!

This fixture is both simple and elegant. It is small enough for my small bathroom and provides plenty of light. The best news is that it is LED, so there will be no more bulb changing in the dark! Even better for the environment: less waste, less heat, and less electricity use. All in all, well worth the few extra dollars.

I love the design of this light, and it fits perfectly into our modern bathroom. However, this light is really poorly made. The face plate isn't square, so it's noticeably off level with the backbox and the light bar. I makes our vanity and mirror look off kilter as well. For the price of this light, I expect better. I would not buy this brand again.

As with other LEDs, this light stays cool. However, it is really dim and now I'm left with having to replace this light for a brighter one or have an electrician add another light fixture to my bathroom. For reference I have a small bathroom 6x8 and had a 120watt incandescent bulb fixture that provided adequate light before installing this new one. If you plan to have extra lighting, this is a modern fixture with simple lines that will work well as an additional light in your modern bathroom.

We saw this light at another store and price checked and found Amazon cheaper and also quicker to deliver and so we purchased through Amazon, but not before we read the reviews. Despite the complaint about low quality construction and non-square assembly; and two deliveries both with broken globe...we purchased anyway. It really is a beautiful light. The ones that we received were very good quality...I was even surprised by the quality of the custom metal hardware and quality chrome plating. As far as the non-square complaint, I didn't check to see if ours was square or not...but didn't have to as the electrical box to which a sconce is normally installed allows for adjustment to make installed lighting square with rest of the room...so I found this to be a non-issue. I do have to say that the first lamp we received also arrived with a shattered globe. We returned it and were provided with a replacement within 48 hours...and the second one arrived in better packaging and intact.

This is the first time I've got off a dime to spend this much on a dang bathroom light. I mounted two lights vertically on either side of the vanity mirror in my 4x8 bathroom. They look and feel very high quality and are plenty bright. I may even have to install an LED-compatible dimmer because some people who use this bathroom don't appreciate the brightness like I do.

The driver buzzes with or without a dimmer, many times it would not even turn the lamp on. I have a few of the George Kovacs lamps and cannot recommend any of them. They look nice, that's it.

I was concerned these lights would not put out enough light so I purchased 2. We probably could have gotten away with 1, but I wasn't sure since you hear such mixed reviews about LED lighting. Really aesthetically pleasing and matches with my asian/tropical decor. I just purchased a Lutron dimmer and will try it with them and come back to update my review.
