Purchased these as a gift for my dad. He has VERY large hands (some XL food gloves don't fit his hands) and they seem to fit better than other models we have tried. He did have some issues with his large hands/fingers touching the metal as he pulled and it caused rubbing that gave him blisters. With a slight hand adjustment he was able to use them without the rubbing but wasn't able to hold them the same as me. My small hands and my husbands medium hands fit just fine. I think these are going to be much more durable than plastic as we can keep the wood conditioned and the metal seems solid. Overall I like these.

I avoided making foods, ie chili verde, pulled pork, etc. because shredding and cutting up was difficult with my painful hands. This has made it so easy to prepare meat for the foods I love. My son and daughter in law think these are the greatest things. Something so unusual has opened a new world of cooking to me

I love these! I have used a pair of large serving forks to shred beef/pork/chicken in the past and my wife suggested that i get these. I'm very happy she did. I shredded 8 (precooked) pounds of pork loin in 5 minutes. I highly recommend

Finally -- someone has invented a quality stainless steel meat lifter / shredder with long handles, so your hands won't get burnt while using them! The claws are heavy and very high quality. You won't regret this purchase.(P.S.: Because of the wood handles, I would not put the claws in the dishwasher.)

These are the sturdiest most heavy duty meat shredding claws I've ever used. Buy them and you will be delighted at how easy the claws shred meat.

Made a roasted pork butt and used these to make pulled pork. They shredded the pork with hardly any effort what so ever. Took no time at all to do. Would recommend!

Haven't used them yet but they are heavy duty. Be great if they came with a case.

I love that these are stainless steel rather than plastic. They clean much easier. The handle is great similar to good knives with wooden handles. Shreds through meat well. I wish I had bought these yeas ago. Great product.
