Japanese Maneki Neko Right Hand Lucky Cat Kutani Ceramic

My mother is Japanese (my maternal side is from Japan). She said Kutani is very famous. I bought this and showed my Mom (via pictures) the box (which reminds me of Japan, how it is fashioned with copper staples) and the pamphlet which explains in English but mostly Japanese, the history of Kutani. It's a beautiful Manekineko with raised circular bumps on the front and back. Beautiful designs and colors on the front and back. Luck? Well, it's possible. We were having trouble selling my house, and now we have sold it after we got this. Whatever you believe. But, I think the cost is worth it. It's not a piece of junk, not plastic, and not something you give to your kid. This is something you could pass onto your children when they get older or buy their own house.

This is a beautiful little cat! Yes, it's expensive, but... when you are getting a lucky money charm, is that the time to be cheap? No! That's when you spend a little to get a piece of art instead of a plastic trinket. If you just want cute cat decor, it's one thing. If you want the luck, consider something nicer, like this little one. :)

伝統ある招き猫を、現代的な姿にアレンジ。「デコ盛り」手法で描かれた文様には、職人の筆遣いを感じます。量産品の置物は、月日が経つと飽きてくるものも多いですが、これは長く愛着を持てる手作業の良さがありますね。陶器の食器も同様ですが、いい器は愛着が湧いて長く使えるものです。キャラのデザインやデコについては好きずきですが、ピンときたならポチっていいのでは！？値段に躊躇するかもしれませんが、一枚の小さな皿でも数千円したりするのを思えば、高くない品物です。縁起もの ご利益願えば 応分に！
