Replaced the fans in my Saturn S with these and I have to say they're great. In my application I had to use a buck converter to install these being they're 12v and the printer is 24v.They move a bit more air than the stock but they are virtually silent. The build quality was pretty good, wires were in good shape with a solid connection and a good connector.Money well spent, and if I ever need a quiet fan again I'll be looking at this line.

We have a treadmill that has needed a $400 service visit twice in the last 5 years. Each time has been due to the fan on the mainboard dying. I did a bit of research, found this one would work, and did replacement with maybe 15 minutes work. Big savings, works perfectly.

I installed a pair of these in the control box for my tevo tornado 3D printer. The originals were just ridiculously loud. These are much quieter but they are 12v so I had to wire them in series off of one fan port. I’ve only been running them for about 2 weeks so I can’t comment on longevity, but they are quiet and well built.

Bought two of these last year to replace my stock TiVo fans.One of these fans turned out to be DOA out of the box, so I'm taking away a star for unreliability.The other fan works like a charm. It's very quiet. It doesn't move a lot of air, but it seems to move enough air to keep my TiVo Premiere cool. I just wish I'd installed them in my TiVos within the 30-day return window, since the defective one is a paperweight now.If you have a TiVo in a bedroom and fan noise bothers you then this fan will make your TiVo nearly silent, although you may still notice some hard drive whirring/clicking.

Direct replacement for the original fan on my Tivo Premiere XL4. Much quieter, had to look to see if it was running. It also moves more air than the original. Results in a quieter Tivo and a MBT (motherboard temp) about 4 degrees Celsius lower than with the original. Note that it has a three wire connector and the Tivo has two pins. 50-50 chance of getting the connection right the first time. Very happy with the fan and the service.

I purchased this fan to cool the M.2 SSD in my gaming PC. Temps during Crystal Disk Mark dropped form 54 degrees to 49 degrees max. It doesn't seem to be any louder than my existing case and radiator fans. Construction seems very solid. Very happy with it so far.

Fan started making a loud grinding noise after only around two months of use. Contacted the manufacturer that touts a "5 year warranty" and was told all warranty claims have to go through the reseller. They offered no support whatsoever. Amazon DID take care of me in this but should not have to. This is not how a warranty claim is supposed to work.Moral of the story, stick with the "brown" fans whenever possible. Unfortunately I need a 50mm fan and they don't make that size.

Very powerful and way quiet

They work but they're not very quiet, and easily breaks if you mess too much with the wires. will buy from Noctua next time.

Acquistate in offerta e montate due silent 5 al posto delle rumorosissime 4010 e 5110 originali della stampante 3D , una assiale e una tangenziale che a pieno regime facevano un rumore infernale e passare la voglia di stampare in casa.Avevamo visto delle modifiche in rete fatte con le ventole nocuta da 40 mm, ma si sa quando si stampa in 3D il raffreddamento del bowden e del materiale depositato è importantissimo, pertanto abbiamo affrontato il fatto di mettere una ventola da 50 mm al posto di una da 40.Le vecchie ventole andavano a2 4 volt, pertanto abbiamo dovuto montare due buck converter sempre presi su amazon ( 5 pezzi a poco più di 7 eur) e regolarli in uscita con un tester, lavoro da fare se non si possiede un alimentatore a 24 volt direttamente con la stampante accesa e spinotti delle ventole collegati. La regolazione del voltaggio è stata un po lunga per via del fatto della sensibilità della microscopica vite che alza o abbassa la tensione in uscita.Abbiamo inoltre dovuto realizzare in PLA dei convertitori - visibili in foto - stampati in 3 D e realizzati con 3D builder che permettessero di montare le nuove ventole più grandi di diametro di un centimetro.uno dei convertitori ha permesso di fare divenire da radale ad assiale una delle due ventole.La situazione è passata dalla notte al giorno.Stampante silenziosa con buona pace delle orecchie, ( ora si sente la ventola della scheda madre che presto sostituiremo con una GELID vista la qualità) ora è un piacere lavorarci.Insomma ventole nel nostro caso perfette e silenziosissime.Nulla da invidiare a modelli più costosi.Sembra che tutto è filato liscio quindi valutazione più che soddisfacente

Nach dem Einbau ins Rigol-Oszi war immer noch ein recht lauter Luftstrom zu vernehmen.Nachdem ich dann die Blechverstrebungen im Lüftungsloch des Oszilloskops, da wo der Lüfter montiert wird entfernt habe, kann man nun kaum mehr etwas hören.Der Luftstrom ist nun auch gefühlt stärker. Nach längerer hoher Belastung aller 4 Kanäle wurde von mir eine Austrittstemperatur von 36°C gemessen. (Kalibriertes Digitalthermometer)Also Alles in Einem: Super Lüfter!

Svagt surrande fläkt med hyfsat blås! Betydligt tystare än en standardfläkt men blåser också aningens mindre tycker jag.
