Peckish 60051274 Nyjer Bird Seed for Wild Birds, 850 g, Green

This seed worked like magic!After only seeing Sparows and one or two Robins at my feeding station I thought I'd try a different variety, and the Nerjer seeds packet had a picture on the front of a goldfinch, so I thought I'd give it a go...within and hour I had two beautiful goldfinches feeding off the feeder I had purchased with the seeds...I have Never seen these birds anywhere in my garden before, but thankfully the Nerjer seeds have done the trick..

My garden birds go crazy for this bird food, its a high quality product which helps to keep the birds fit and healthy and maintain there general well being, and ias good value for money.

These are good quality seeds - split a few open when I first opened the packet and they seem pretty fresh. I suspect there are better value options available out there, I opted for quality over quantity in this case but only because I wasn't 100% sure the birds would like it. A week on and the feeder is still 2/3 full of seeds 😕 so it seems that the sunflower hearts are favoured by the finches in this case.

It's perhaps more to do with it being nesting season, but this nyger seed is being eaten far faster than the brand I usually get from my local bargain store. Recommended!

Excellent buy if the enthusiasm of the goldfinches and bullfinches is genuine.

I’m afraid the birds have never touched these seeds, iv no idea why, iv continued to put them out for birds but they’re not interested I’m afraid, packaging is great, seeds look perfectly fine just no interest
