These are very sturdy and operate smoothly. The mechanism to fold is easy to get to because it extends out to the end of the bracket unlike some others that you have to reach under the shelf for. Comes with screws for install. Shipping packaging is flimsy, paper shipping envelope isn't sturdy enough for these heavy-duty brackets. It arrived all torn up and taped together. No damage to the brackets though as they are in a light weight carton inside the shipping bag. Squashed up package but product not damaged.

A great kit for many Murphy furniture build. Heavy duty and easy to install. The screw location is a little awkward because the support brackets get in the way. Still a good product.

Put them up today with an old counter top,they're awesome, work easley and feel pretty sturdy...good buy!

We have a Forest River Flagstaff travel trailer and the bracket for the fold out counter table/ shelf was total garbage. It was real thin metal and broke within the first first year. I installed these brackets and wow, such an upgrade. They are thick metal and feels way more substantial. I really like the positive locking when extended and having a lever to unlock... it feels way more secure. When folded down its actually tighter to the cabinet and takes up less room. Forest River should definitely replace the crap brackets with this model. Very happy and they were very easy to install. Highly recommend for travel trailers and RVs.

The quality is very good for the price. Be careful, the edges are sharp. They can be eased with a fine grit sand paper or file.

I ordered these brackets to support an outfeed table that planned to build as a folding extension to my table saw. They came in different sizes/lengths and although I could have used longer ones, I wasn't willing to wait the extra time to receive them. I ended up buying the 18" length for a table that was to be almost 30" long and they worked great. Once installed on my table saw and the plywood top they were surprising solid. Much more so than I had expected. They were only 18" long to support a 40" x 30" table but are rock solid. Seriously, very solid.So, if you're looking for a set of locking, folding shelf brackets, I can't imagine doing any better than these. And they're not a fortune. Big win for me

Perfect for what I needed. I didn’t have enough counter space in my small apartment. So I installed a fold down table to create more space off the end of the counter, but could also be compacted. It turned out very well. Sturdy and it’s one of the only brackets I found that doesn’t have much space between the hinges, which creates less gap space from the counter. Board was purchased and cut at Home Depot....Perfect

This product description is not accurate. Cannot write to sturdiness install or stability as will not be using.

I put 4 of these on a 8 foot x 2 Ft. 3/4 in Plywood. Used them on extending side of utility trailer. Standing on board (220 lb) has caused struts to bend. 550lb. should be rated at 100lb. max. For safety may have to go to heavy duty.
