SuperATV2" Lift Kit for John Deere Gator 625i / 825i / 855D - See Fitment

Bought for a 2015 John Deere 825 S 4. If you go to the super atv website they'll say this is an easy bolt on kit. If you're putting it on an JD xuv its really not. I usually don't write reviews but as I carved out a couple hours for this and then spent much more time than expected I wanted to let people know. There is a you tube video of a guy putting this kit on a cf Moto. Seems like he did this in about an hour. Puts 3, 1" straps on the spring to compress and he's done. If you have a Gator get 3, 2" straps and the most durable handles you can find and put the bottom in a vice. I'm sure that someone makes a compressor for this but JD does not and a compressor from a standard truck kit will not work. Make sure they're the straps you can take the bolt off so you don't use the original fixed end and make a full loop with it because unlike the cf Moto video your Gator springs are too short to use the strap as is. I destroyed 4 1" straps doing this before returning to the store for the two inch. My front actually came up 3". Not sure about the back. Looks pretty good. But if you're putting this on a Gator get ready for a fight.

Easy to install

Does the job. You NEED a good heavy duty spring compressor to install these. Ride quality will suffer a little but that's just something you loose with a spacer style lift. Other than that it does exactly what it says on the box.
