ghd Ceramic Vented Round Brush - 2.1 inch Barrel, 55mm Barrel, Size 4

$40 is excessively overpriced for a hairbrush. BUT. My hair is very thick, very dense, coarse, and curly. I invested in an Olivia Garden round brush ($25) and the bristles bent beyond usability in less than a month. So, I was desperate to find a high quality brush that was easy to use, could heat up quickly, and withstand daily use. I was very dubious of this brush. Ironically, the reviews citing stiff and prickly bristles were the reason I made the purchase. I've been using it for a few days now, and let me tell you - this brush delivers. It's extremely light weight, easy to hold and manipulate. Picks up hair precisely, heats up quickly, and doesn't yet have a single bent bristle. The bristles dont feel at all prickly or painful to me, and I like that they're somewhat shorter than ones on other brushes. I do wish it came in a size larger than the 55mm, because my hair is long enough that I prefer 3 inch barrel brushes (which would be more like 75mm), but in every other way this brush is a dream come true. I'm even a little less bitter over the price tag.

This brush is amazing! I initially bought a cheaper, more popular round hairbrush, but it turned out to be junk. However, this brush is exactly what I needed. It is sturdy, sleek, and has a comfortable handle with stiff bristles. There is no chemical smell when it gets heated. My hair is smooth and shiny with no frizz. I highly recommend this brush!

This is a real quality brush. Does not pull your hair and works beautifully.

The handle is so dang thin it makes it uncomfortable to roll between your fingers. My hair only goes to my shoulder and with my current brush (which has a thicker handle) I have no issues with muscle fatigue drying my hair. I had muscle fatigue in my hand and wrists with this ghd brush in the first minute of using it. What gets me is they made the handle the thinnest at the point where your fingers are doing the work to rotate the brush. Also, they need to make a brush in a larger barrel than the 2.1 inch but I would’ve kept the 2.1 inch brush if it was even somewhat remotely comfortable to use but it isn’t so I’m not. ✌️

This brush definitely makes my hair dryer quicker! I have been using a “revolt” brush for the last year and it took me between 20-25 min to dry my hair. With this GHD only took me 15 min!As the picture show, my hair is very straight and with no freeze.I also noticed that my hair didn’t fall much as with the other one.the reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because it is a very very light brush. For some it will be great, but for me it is kinda hard to hold it just because of that .

I Love This Brush! I have used it for years! I think it's worth the money. I think the bristles are sturdier than any I have used. I have curly and frizzy hair and it will blow it out smooth. I like to date things to see how long they last. How long the brush bristles lasts depends on your hair type.

Seems pricey, but think about it: you will use this product frequently and for years. You are investing quality equipment.Yes, the bristles are prickly, but, it's not offensive. This is a styling tool, not a hair brush for removing tangles. Its all about technique.I got the #4. The brush is light weight and twirls easily through my medium length hair. The handle is perfect for getting that cranking motion going with just your fingers. The vented barrel heats up, smoothing the strands, while the air passes through to speed up dry-time.Very happy I chose this brush.

I finally found a brush to replace the 2in. brush I've been using for years! Very comfortable to use. Love the long handle as it makes it much easier to control. Purchased this and a Drybar brush at the same time, and I prefer this one!
