Yes, very hard plastic. It’s a great cup. Keeps ice all night.

So there is no other way to screw the lid on so that the handle is suitable for a left handed person? Does it have a seam or is it seamless? Thanks!

I’m not sure what you mean about a seam but there is no seam on the cup, if that’s what you’re asking. I actually have my cup right now and tried about 10 different srart8ng points for screwing the lid on and it always adds up the same way, handle on the right side of drinking hole. I have a leftie kid and my hubby epoxied handles on cups for her many times..otherwise, I can’t seem to find a way to make this a left handed cup. Sorry. It’s really a nice mug.

Where is it manufactured?

Curt, I think what they are trying to say is this item and the other items you are referring to at one time either were or could have been made in the U.S. and currently this type of manufacturing is so limited our nonexistent in America, were we are completely at a loss if there is a supply chain issue as we see conning out of a global pandemic. So in short, why is it important where this cup is made, is more about where things are not made. Thanks for your time.
