Love it!
I am a huge Roseanne fan and I am in the process of collecting each series, so when I saw this one, I had to get it! I didn't really expect it to be new for the price but was very pleasantly surprised to see it is new, still sealed and never opened! I immediately opened it up and had to start watching it! I now have seasons 1, 2, and 4 and still looking for a good deal on the rest!Quick shipping and in the best condition right at my door! Thank you to the seller and I will be looking for the other seasons for my collection! Roseanne is the best and she is right up there in my opinion with the I Love Lucy Show!

The funniest season that I remember
This is the last season I ever got for this series (I started with season 5, worked my way to 9, then back for the rest). I was more into this show by then and I remember how screamingly funny some episodes were, especially where Jackie 'fesses up to sleeping with Arnie, disgusting her girlfriends (and Roseanne too) bad enough to induce vomiting. There's also Roseanne's needlebutt's remarks toward their new neighbor, Kathy "ah-*kew*" Bowman (remember her amusing sneezes?). Darlene looking eerily like her real-life sister Melissa when the latter appeared on 'Little House on the Prairie' cuz according to Becky, she couldn't be dressed like death in the commercial. Darlene being called Heidi by Dan upon pointing out his doofishness. Roseanne being called Aunt Roseanne by Darlene after she was replaced by Jackie as being a more favorable respresentative of mothers for the commercial. On what I'd say to be a very appropriate note, the cast wraps up this season with a food fight in the kitchen after returning home from DJ's spelling bee. Funny!!!! There's nothing funnier about this series that I remember other than just about, well, everything this season!!!Box art: again, looks cool, nice blues for this season which I gather would make sense given Roseanne's grumblings about how "sucky" that year was for her. Poor Roseanne! The episodes are closed-captioned as well as video commentaries and other extras throughout (again, no subtitles available). Good job, Roseanne and company! If you only want one season of Roseanne that's particularly FUNNY, get this one. Everything's uncut, including extras, closed-captioned as well, and get ready to laugh big time.

Great show, decent DVD release!
I will not review the show itself in great detail as there is no real need. In a nutshell, have always found this show to be one of the most enjoyable sitcoms of my time (with the exception of the complete insult that is the final episode which I choose to pretend doesn't exist). I generally dislike Roseanne Barr and I dislike the anti-man vibe of the show sometimes, but even so there is so much to love here with the great acting, stellar supporting cast--most notably Laurie Metcalf--great dialogue and relatable life issues that it stands the test of time and is fun to watch. As far as the actual product, the packaging is lacking, in my opinion. There are three discs and they are literally stacked directly on top of each other and placed on one clip in one DVD case. Be that as it may, the discs were not damaged, it's just not ideal and for the price (about $7.00 for the entire season, uncut) there is little cause for complaint. The DVD menus are very simple and there is a play-all feature which is awesome and it seems silly but I mention it because it's really annoying when a TV show is released on DVD without a play-all feature. The picture quality is perfectly fine as well. Recommended!

HURRY UP SEASON FIVE!!
I admit...I'm a HUGE Roseanne fan. This set would have to be really bad for me not to rave about it. I will admit that the last two seasons of the show didn't have the appeal as the first seven, but being able to buy each season for less than $10 is an amazing deal. This season isn't my favorite, but "Crime and Punishment" is one of my favorite episodes of all time. Dan Conner, you are my hero! I love Glenn Quinn as Mark and his innate ability to get under Roseanne's skin like no other. Such a tragic fate for such a great actor. These are a must-have for any Roseanne fan. The packaging could bother some people; the dvds are inside paper CD envelopes, housed inside the dvd case, so I recommend storing them differently. Personally, that doesn't bother me at all especially since I'm getting each season for such a great price. My only complaint is having to wait for each season to come out, one by one. HURRY UP WITH SEASON FIVE ALREADY!!!Do yourself a favor, and just purchase these. You won't be disappointed. See you at 714 Delaware St!!!

Season 4 I liked best
The kids were delivering the jokes and Roseanne wasn't in a poor me funk. This is the season this show started to come together.
