Beautiful but thin backing
The rug itself looks quite lovely with the soft, flowing white hair. Size and shape were exactly as described and in picture. My only disappointment is that there is no backing on the rug at all. It's paper thin and therefore does not feel great under the feet when on a hard floor such as tile or wood. I'm looking into hiring a seamstress to sew a backing on it just to give it a bit of thickness and comfort.
