Hi there! Yes, this boat will float (though we'd recommend leaving off any stickers if you plan to use it in water). Also, make sure you air dry it or wipe it dry with a cloth. Heated driers might make the pieces change their shape. Kind regards, Emily LEGO® Customer Service

Do they come in boxes

All the pieces come in small plastic bags (that are not resealable).

Hi there. The boat is not designed to float. That said, it will stay afloat for a while as water will only enter the model slowly. Once it does though, it will take a long time for the water to drain and dry off unless the pieces are disassembled. Phil LEGO® Customer Service
