Easy to use but you need to either build a frame or use rolled up towels when you pour the cement in. the towels help keep the mold from sagging and ruining your product.

Pouring rocks, nice molds, easy to use

I loved using these to make our Suicide Awareness Rocks (#WROCKS & WROCKS on Facebook), and even though the process got a bit messy, the outcome was fantastic. My DIL and I started 2 weeks prior to a rock painting gathering and we had plenty of rocks for everyone to paint. The set held up great while making 60+ concrete rocks and after cleanup are ready to do it again next spring.

There are sturdier silicone molds available but for the price these aren’t bad. I used them to make rocks for an elementary school summer art camp.For my more professional dot painted mandalas, the fact that there isn’t a support to keep the underside or the mold from touching the surface of the counter, is disappointing, especially on the pink oval shaped mold. The round molds having a flat top is fine.Not bad and easy to use. The flat top and wonky edges aren’t real breakers depending on what I want to use the rocks for.

Already used them and they made beautiful stones. I used Portland cement mix and they came out great. A tad small but they’ll do.

Red mold is 100 great. The white mold is too floppy with the overhang and won't hold shape thus creating creases in your project. Underfill to avoid this but I'll be cutting away that top lip.

This was my first time to use a silicone mold and I was amazed! It formed perfect stones for painting, much easier to paint than regular rocks because the mold makes them so smooth.

I use these molds for plaster of Paris to make fake rocks to paint on. I like both the round smaller size and the oval larger size. My granddaughter and I have made some spectacular and fun “painted rocks ” on these faux rocks.
