very easy to install adn good lighting
Only issue is the clips to connect to the wire did not work. They didn't get a connection when clamping the wires, guessing the prongs in the clips weren't strong enough or big enought to cut through the insulation around the wire. Ended up getting other connector at local store. Overall good product.

I'm not sure if I really love it because it doesn't work
I'm not sure if I really love it because it doesn't work. But I called Aurora's customer service line and left a voice mail that the transformer didn't output anything and he called me back in 15 minutes! Putting a new one in the mail today no other questions asked. I had heard their customer service was amazing but now I know first-hand! Regarding the lights themselves, they're very tiny and unobtrusive which is exactly the look I wanted. I will be using them to light the steps when my multi-level deck changes levels.

Very pleased once installed
UPDATE I finally got around to contacting the seller and the lights were out of warranty. My bad for procrastinating. After testing the LEDs with another power source I confirmed that power was the issue and bought a replacement transformer and dimmer unit. Once I had the deck apart I tested and discovered that the transformer was OK, it was the dimmer control module that was bad. So now I have an extra $40 transformer The lights get pushed out of their flush mounted position from time to time and need to be tapped back in. I suspect this is due to expansion and contraction of the deck boards. It would be nice if there was a little scale surface to keep them from working their way back out. They remain a snug fit so far and seem to be no worse for the wear of tapping them back in - thankfully. This kit includes a transformer, control module, remote control, wire, wire connectors, and of course 10 lights. I purchased 10 additional lights so installed a total of 20. The lights work perfectly, the dimmer provides a nice way to trim the light so it provides enough light to see but not too much. The LED lights on high are a little annoying to the eye at night. The transformer and controller look like they are well built, the remote I am skeptical about. It has very little range and I am not optimistic that it will last. My only complaint is that the wire connectors that are provided with the lights are junk. I tried to install the first light using them and it was a total failure. I ended up purchasing other connectors and the installation was very tedious as a result. I also purchased the special Forstner bit. At $34 it was a good investment to do 20 lights. However, the one I purchased from Amazon was a very low quality (Chinese?) tool that got dull before I finished the job. If the connectors were usable this would have been a five star. UPDATE. Entire set stopped working with very few hour logged, suspect the transformer is bad. So, after drilling holes in $20K worth of Trex I now have no lights. Very disappointed.

Looks nothing like the packaage
I bought this based on the image on the package. It's the only picture available. The lights appear to be large amber lights. These lights are actually tiny 1 1/8" round LED lights that shine a very blue light. The connectors are basically garbage so I used another type. While they do not bear any resemblance to the package, I sort of like them anyway.

Love them . Work fantastic. Wire connectors as others have mentioned need to be improved. Did not use the kit connectors.

Perfect deck lighting solution
Shopped for quite awhile looking for a safety solution to my multi level deck while giving it that luxury touch, these looked to be the best bang for the buck. They've been in for a couple years now and no problems. Remote control is great + different brightness settings is also very cool. Would recommend to a friend. Defiantly get the specialized 2-n-1 drill bit.

Great product overall, requires some electrical troubleshooting, crappy directions
When it's finished and working, the lights look very nice and have good functionality with dimmer settings, remote, etc.The instructions were pretty confusing, especially when it came to the wiring. Some of the figures had subfigures labeled with letters, e.g. (a), and other figures had no number or label. Here are some of the issues I had:-The end of the black and white lines are just dead-ended into the connectors. Wiring them together will obviously short out the circuit, but it also shows an image splicing two white wires together and two black wires together, with the same connections. No explanation was given for this figure, so it threw me for a bit.-The connectors are meant to be used between the black/white line and the power source. The power source uses stranded wire but has a soldered end. The power source wire plastic coating is too large to fit into the provided connectors, so I had to cut off some of the coating to make it fit, exposing the stranded wire. This makes no sense to me, they obviously didn't size to fit. I also tried first with the provided orange connectors, which are pretty much one-time use, so I ended up using wire nuts.-Once wired up and connected properly, and plugged in, 5 of the 9 lights I installed worked right away. 2 of the remaining worked after using pliers to crimp down on the connectors. The other two required taking the connector apart, and one of them only worked when I replaced with a different light.Long story short, it takes some troubleshooting. I'm really happy with the final product, but for the price I expected better instructions and for the components to work out of the box.

Small lights but a big return.
If you want lights that blend into your deck and give you that wow factor for visitors, this is it. With the offered drill bit, these go in well and hook up fast. I took a little extra time doing the layout which paid off later on the install. I installed these into a finished low deck and found that using an electrical fish tape and some string helped me run these under the deck. Which I couldn't fit under even if I were my old high school weight. Got the 10 piece additional light kit for a 14 x 22' deck and remote. Looks great. Definitely impress the guests.
