Like the feel
I'm going to go with the four star people because I like this trap. I own a medium size camera that doesn't fix into any clothes pockets and needed something to hold the camera while walking around. Yep, got a case which also carries accessories, but that stays in the car or house if possible. Most camera straps I looked at seem bigger than my camera...wanted a smaller size to fit with the look. This worked perfectly and it's easily detached from the camera if need be. I like the way the strap stretches and seems to act like a shock absorber for the camera as you walk. I'm a 5'7" guy and the camera hangs down to right above my belly button at it's longest length, which is perfect for me, but girls might need a longer strap. I did stress test it before putting my camera on it (hung my suite from the closet off the eye hooks) and it didn't break after bouncing it a few times...(better safe then sorry). Bottom line, I have no complaints to say, I'm happy because it works and didn't cost me a fortune....

As advertised
I am surprised at some of the comments on this strap. The description states that it is for binoculars and SMALL cameras. The company makes a complete line of straps and if you need a strap to use it with a larger camera/lens combo, it is easy to find one. Just search for "Op/Tech" and select the one that matches your needs. Another option is to go to the companies web page 'opteckusa.com". Complete information on their products is available there also.In my case, I am using the strap with an Olympus XZ-2 and it is a good match for a camera of that size. The quick disconnect appear to be sturdy enough for that weight camera. The disconnects are the reason I picked this strap. I like to be able to remove the strap when I am shooting, something I could not do with strap that Olympus supplied with the camera.I have used their products for years and have never had one accidentally disconnect on me. I find their quality and construction to be first rate.

MEASURE BEFORE YOU BUY!
I was so disappointed in how short this strap is. My intent was to use it as a shoulder strap. I guess I will need to look into purchasing the optional extensions.

Improved safety for my tiny Sony RX100 VII camera
Sony ships this little camera with a tiny wrist strap rather than a neck strap. This comfortable neck strap fits into the camera's attachment points and offers a bit more security for using the camera. The strap is compact enough that it fits nicely into a pocket with the camera.I like the detachable clips and the soft neoprene center.I am tall, but this strap is a comfortable length for wearing around the neck. I will probably buy the Mini QD extension so it can be worn around the shoulder.

Great Strap
I've been using these straps for 1 1/2 years. They are easy to attach / detac, and very comfortable to wear all day in the field. and light. Despite being light weight, it is well made and seems to last without any problems. The snaps are secure and cannot accidently come apart. I have used this strap on the light weight Panasonic ZS40 and 50 (11 oz), the larger weight Fuji X-T10 and 18-55mm lens (24 oz), and the bulkier Panasonic FZ1000 (29 oz). This strap supports all three cameras perfectly. Very comfortable - more so than any other strap I have used. Other straps feel bulky around the neck and some wear into you neck - not this one. I highly recommend it.

Perfect for my needs.
It’s the perfect length, which can be adjusted, very comfortable and keeps my hands free when I’m carrying binoculars or a compact digital camera with two connection points.

Comfortable option for compact binoculars, length plenty long enough
I bought this strap for my Zeiss Victory Compact binoculars because they came with a thin, although robust, strap that I wear around my winter coat collar. Looking forward to warmer weather I wanted a more comfortable option to take the place of the coat collar. This is it. It works for me. I was concerned reading the reviews about length but it's almost too long, the binoculars reach to my waist, much lower than I would normally wear them. I am 5ft 6 and a slim build and I find that I could even wear one side of the strap under one arm to carry them across body and still lift the binoculars easily. My husband is 6ft and they are comfortable for him at this length too although 4 inches above his waist, they still lift easily for viewing. The strap is not fully extended at this and I estimate it has another 3 inches to extend should I want it to but I will probably shorten it. It was easy to fit, just unclip at the quick release, attach the slim loop cord and re-clip the strap. The neoprene is 6mm or about a quarter inch thick so quite comfy and the neoprene part of the strap is 32mm or 12.5 inches long. It is not to bulky to carry and is easy to unclip and shove in a pocket if you want to transport the compacts in their original case which as usual is quite close fitting.

Excellent for smaller cameras
I have recently bought a compact camera and wanted a proper neck strap, rather than the wrist strap that came with the camera. The majority of straps I saw were either lanyards (not very comfortable) or for full size SLR's (rather overkill).I ended up searching for binocular straps and came across the OP/TECH products - both the neck strap and wrist strap. As both items have quick release buckles I only need to attach one product to the camera and can alternate between the two. As there is only one mounting point on the camera but this strap has two for each side of the camera I simply attached one round the strap so I only need one of the buckles to attach to the camera. The part that goes round your neck is neoprene, so it is soft and springy. The strap length is easily adjustable for a wide variety of lengths.I would recommend this strap for compact cameras and perhaps compact system cameras.

Great for smaller cameras
Needed a proper neck for my Panasonic DC-TZ90 camera, rather than the wrist strap that came with it. Decided upon this one after reading some of the positive reviews and would agree that it’s easy to fit, comfortable to have round the neck and is most importantly, strong and secure. Completely satisfied, thanks.

The foam started to desintegrate
The strap lasted just over 3 years. I had to replace it since the foam between the fabric started to disolve and I feared that the whole strap would come apart with my camera hitting the ground. I've replaced it with a leather strap. More expensive, but I think I will wear out the camera before wearing out the strap. I have 2 OP/TECH Super Classic Strap Pro Loop which I have had for at least 10 years and they are great, so this came as a great disappointment.

A bit short
I bought this strap for my Olympus EPL5, and in that respect it is ideal. It's lightweight and very comfortable. But the length is quite baffling - it's too short even for me (I'm a small skinny female) particularly as I like to carry my cameras cross body to ease any impact on my neck. Even when set to its longest length, I can't always hold the camera far enough from my eyes to compose the shot easily (I'm longsighted) without having to put my glasses on, which is a bit inconvenient. But otherwise, excellent service and very prompt delivery.
