Hunching over to use a laptop for extended period of time is terrible for your back and shoulders. By elevating the laptop up to about eye level, I can sit and work on my laptop much more comfortably and ergonomically.I looked around for a long time to find a laptop stand that's reasonably price and gives me flexibility in terms of height and angle of the placement (since I move around a lot and need multiple workstations). This one does the job nicely. It's big enough that it'll accommodate any size laptop. The base is even wide enough for me to slide my keyboard underneath, which is a nice added perk to keep my desk from getting cluttered. This stand basically allows me to elevate the laptop anywhere between 1 inch up to ~3 feet. It's also light so easy to collapse and carry with you if you need to bounce around from location to location like I do.The negative is that it's a bit flimsy and feels cheap (but this is expected given the price). It's not sturdy enough to hold a monitor, and you can't lean on it at it all. I had to remove the mouse pad because using the mouse, with the motion and weight of my wrist/arm, caused the stand to shake and the screen to jiggle. Set a realistic expectations for the price point, know that it's only meant to raise your laptop, and you won't be disappointed.

I purchased this Laptop Stand to use as a projector stand in my bedroom. I have an inexpensive Vankyo projector that I use in place of a TV/Monitor.With this stand that I place on the table next to my bed, I can project content from my streaming device to the ceiling. It's almost like having a 40 inch TV on the ceiling of my bedroom. I can lie flat on my back without cranking my neck to watch anything that was shown before at table height.I did velcro the projector to the stand so that I could point the picture 15 degrees and in front of me.I plane to attach the stand on the wall over the headboard so that I can look straight up rather than to the side.Cheap and effective way to eliminate a TV from my room, still watch programs, and save my neck.

This product does exactly what I need it to. My laptop is very light and I would assume a heavier laptop may need something studier but I love this product!!!

Bought this for our female DJ, the directions suck. Gave us hell! But once up it was great. Is a headache though to put up!

Great product! Use it at work

Very portable. Works well sitting on a couch or sitting up in bed. Allows laptop fan to circulate air through vents on stand keeping processor cool. Perfect solution for comfortable laptop operation when sitting at a counter/desk is not an option.

I bought this for use with a drawing tablet and use it in an unconventional way so hard to comment on functionality with a heavier laptop. However for if you don't need the cooling fan it'll probably work.
