This game has all the best attributes of a great family game. There is a great deal of randomness in the setup, so each game feels fresh and new. The rules are simple to learn and understand but there are a varied number of approaches (strategies) to winning.The theme is sufficiently supported and gameplay never feels tedious; it is always fun.If you are familiar with Treasure Hunter this game is about the same "weight" and has a similar feel.

Nice components with easy and interesting game play mechanics that are easy to learn and use, yet the game offers enough decision making to keep you engaged. It plays well as a 2-player game and I would imagine it's good at all player counts. Fun game.

I absolutely loved this game. Bought it off a recommendation in Guardian newspaper and definitely did not disappointment. There are many ways to win this game which is one of the reasons I enjoy Settlers of Catan. You can try different strategies and they could succeed on any given day. Plus each game only took about an hour. Played with family and everyone thought it was a perfect addition to our game night. Bravo!!!

I've only played twice but had a lot of fun both times, once at 2p and once at 3p. It's very easy to learn (there are some good 'how to play' videos on youtube or boardgamegeek.)I have a game group that likes gateway games, is nuts about Wingspan and Lords of Waterdeep, so the two people from this group that I played with really liked it and that's what I was looking for. I am unsure of replayability. The placement of the tiles that make the pathway to the tomb will vary, but nothing else. There are expansions that I will probably be acquiring if this game becomes a favorite like I think it will. My husband also liked it a lot so that's always a win for me.
