Exactly as described
This costume worked perfectly for my under the sea party. As expected, the costume came a little wrinkled but it came out easily with a steamer. This is absolutely made for a person broader than me so the nose was a little floppy. I hot glued half of a pool noodle to the inside seam and that worked perfectly to keep the head up. Nice, small split in the back made it easy to walk. Not see through at all, unlike the other shark costume I tried from this brand. Clear straps are adjustable so make it work for you! I’m 5’11” and the length was great. Shorter people would want to modify the bottom; seems like the foam-like fabric could be easy cut with a steady hand.

Totally Jaw-some
This shark costume puts the "great" in Great White. It is better than I expected & was perfect for my occasion. It's a single piece that I found easiest to step into (thru the mouth) & pull up as opposed to pulling directly over my head. The material is spongey, the eyes look deadly cold & the color is spot on.I'm 5-11, 170lbs & had plenty of room to spare. Anyone significantly larger - like several inches & lots of lbs - may find it a tight, but manageable fit. Anyone much smaller will need to rig up a strap inside to keep the 'head' from sliding off their shoulder. This costume does narrow at the bottom & comes down to your ankles so don't plan on running. There is an opening to pull your arm through between the eyes & dorsal fin.Tips for a "great" white:- comes tightly packed in a clear, flat envelop so expect some creases, allow time for 'breathing'- includes 2 clear straps (that can be removed) to hang "nose up", I flipped it around & used clothes hanger with claps to hang from bottom which stretched out the suit better & improved the shape- while hanging I used a clothes steamer to quickly steam out any remaining creases, this is not a necessity but I prefer my shark to look youthful & vibrant as opposed to old & wrinkly. I would not put an iron directly on the material.- used $10 of poly-fill from local craft store to stuff all 3 fins & the nose, improves the fit & brings Jaws to life. Poly-fill can then be removed & used to stuff accent pillows (note: better ask wife's permission before proceeding with poly-fill projects)- I went shirtless underneath but if you need to have something on I'd recommend solid black to help the white shark teeth stand out more- practice your 'being eaten alive face' . . . It will make for better pics.

Great costume
Really great costume. Great value for the money. It comes with two plastic straps that will keep it up, so you don’t have to hold it up with your hand. There is also a slit for your other arm. I’m 5’5, average weight, and it fit me great. The way it’s made though, I could see it fitting someone bigger or someone a bit smaller. It comes to above my ankles. Easy to walk in.

Excellent quality of fabric and construction for the cost!
I am so pleased with this shark costume! The amount that I spent was so low for such a high quality costume! Very pleased! It would have cost me three times the amount if I had attempted to make it! Love the way you can stuff it's parts (head and fins) with tissue or polyfill if you would like to! Thank you so much!

I am 5'3 and weigh 147 and the costume fits me fine. Yes
Costume fit perfectly. I am 5'3 and weigh 147 and the costume fits me fine. Yes, its long. Comes to my ankles(actually a little above them) but its easy to walk in. I took another reviewers advice and bought polyster fill from Wal Mart for $6 to stuff the fins. I have basically an entire roll left over but I wasn't sure that the small roll would be enough. The reason I gave the costume 4 stars and not 5 is because the inside of the costume isnt comfortable and the part that touched my bare legs is scratchy and rough. I will have to wear pants instead of shorts with the costume.

Shark Costume With Male Body Part
I wore this thing for my wedding. It's a long story and, yes, I am crazy. The costume seemed kinda cheap when I first opened it, but after I "broke it in", it looked pretty awesome. You do have to use your right hand to hold the shark's nose/tip up, but there is a hole to place your arm in case you actually need to use both hands. Just don't wear a pirate ring on that hand or it will get stuck constantly. The one thing was great and terrible was the fact that the shark fin on the front side is in a specific place that may not be appropriate for everyone. Some people laughed at this. Some people were angry. Whatever. This could be a problem in certain situations for some people.Brandon

Fun Costume!
I loved this costume. I did hang and steam it before wearing and was able to get out all of the wrinkles. I wore it to the side as pictured here, and also the "straightahead" orientation. Wearing it to the side was definitely more entertaining for spectators, but limits movement for the wearer. It was a big hit at the parties I attended.

Knew it was cheap, but...
I was fully aware, before purchasing this costume, that it was inexpensive (read: cheap) and I shouldn't get my hopes up. But the fact of the matter is that this costume is garbage. Incredibly cheap quality and construction. To top it off, this seller sent me a DIRTY costume. I could live with this abomination of a costume if it was at least new and clean. But they sold me an old, dirty costume (black smears on several spots). I don't have the time or energy to send this one back for a replacement for the Halloween event my work is having so I'm simply SOL.. As far as the actual construction is concerned, they expect you to keep the costume suspended by super thin and very slippery plastic bands that you need to tie together. Additionally, the nose and fins are floppy. The reviews saying you need to fill them are very accurate. I am so disappointed by this costume that I may just scrap it entirely and go to the event without a costume. I don't even want to go out and buy filler to make it look almost, sort of half decent. I would not recommend buying this unless you're prepared to do some major maintenance on a product that should simply work out of the box as advertised.

Cool costume
Lots of hilarious comments, can be used to go out to a club, can be also - public friendly if you wear a top underneath - it's the same foam-like fabric the banana costume is made out of. It's cheap enough to use a couple of times and be worth it - all in all very happycould have been a tiny bit cheaper so 4/5

Brilliant Costume
This was one of the best Halloween costumes I've ever bought! It really stands out from other costumes and lots of people thought it was brilliant. I went as a Hawaiian girl who got ate but you could go as a Baywatch person also to add to it. Would recommend buying some fake blood to go with it. I covered myself in it and when I washed the costume (about a couple of weeks later :-/ ) it came out perfectly. One thing to note is there is no padding in the costume so I happened to have a role of bubble wrap and filled it out that way. It takes a while to get the padding right so as not to make the shark look deformed! Great buy overall!
