Superb Rubber Garage Door Seal
This seal is 100% rubber, not plastic, so it conforms well to the space under the door. It is just the right thickness to give a stiffness so it doesn't feel flimsy, yet it can be easily handled for installation. The nails have a spiral along the shaft so they won't pull out as easily as smooth nails. The plastic "washers' have a large diameter that will keep the nails from tearing the seal. To cut the rubber seal to fit the door, a sharp pair of scissors works great. Installation can be done alone, but it goes more smoothly with two. Will know more in the winter if snow or ice will stick the seal to the cement, but the rubber's flexibility seems like it will keep that from happening. If this is not the case, I will update this post. The seal looks great on the door, making it look more finished, and we have already noticed it doesn't feel drafty in the garage anymore. We had a 1/8" gap below the door and this seal closes it perfectly. Our door is an "old fashioned" heavy manual lift type, and this seal also acts as a bumper to cushion the door when closing it, helping to protect the windowpanes. This seal is an excellent investment, will protect the door, and keep debris and animals out, and snow from blowing in. You will be pleased with this very high-quality garage door seal!

Good product!
This garage door seal was easy to install and looked great. It must be very tasty, because mice ate through it, and the garage door behind it the first night, to get back inside. This is definitely not the fault of the seal! I just needed to put some good quality bait traps inside to ensure no more problems.

good, rubbery EPDM.
Mark Russell's review was from 2 years ago, so things have probably changed, but the garage seal I received (sold and shipped by Amazon) is indeed the tough, rubbery EPDM version that does not tear easily (or at all). And as a result of the better rubber compound, 3M mounting tapes will not sure to it... I bought this to add a lip to my cars as many others have done but no 3M mounting tape (permanent outdoor, Extreme outdoor, etc) will work, even with properly cleaning the surface and heating the tape. I did find out that I'll have to prep the EPDM surface with 3M tape Primer 94, which should get the mounting tapes I have to bond permanently.4/25/15 update:The 3M Primer 94 worked wonders on the EPDM. The 3M VHB extreme mounting tape I bought stuck instantly and permanently away once I rubbed the primer onto the seal and let it dry. I treated my wife's car bumper bottom with it as well and then stuck on the garage door seal and made a very nice looking lip for her front bumper. It's been on there a few weeks with no sign of it coming off or getting loose.

Great value, straightforward install.
The old stripping on my garage door was ripped, drooping, and breaking apart. I have an old-school wooden garage door, overall it works, once you get a few more years out of it. This new bottom stripping seal was easy to cut to size, And came with all them needed hardware to install.I unrolled it, and then recoiled it in the reverse direction and let it sit for a while so it would straighten out. I’ve been peeled off my old, stripping, and laid out the new one up against it, and cut the new one close, but left a little extra length on it to trim at the end. It’s better if you have two people to hold up the stripping as you nail it in, but it’s doable with one person. Once you Get the first nail in, partially nail in the other side, all the way at the end, just enough to hold it up. Then Nail it in all the way down.

Only buy if you have a wooden door
If you have a metal door get the one with the slot in the middle. This works alright for now but I will be ordering the correct one. Trying to nail through the metal plate at the bottom of your door is a nightmare

Easy for the DIYer
I was contemplating replacing my garage doors. They are 35 years old. The original bottom seals had disintegrated over the last 5+ years and the doors were in poor condition. They are 9' wood core and are 1" wide (the core). I had to replace the driveway this year and spending another $10K on 2 doors and lifts was not in the cards. So I replace the brick moulding and trim, painted them and used these seals on the bottom. I am very happy with the product and result. Before and after photos are attached. These are easy to install and the included nails (w/washers) were great. Driving nails over your head can be a challenge! I didn't drop one and they provide ample nails. These seals are easy to cut and there are a number of YT videos to guide you. Door stops are next!

Good looking replacement and a proper kit.
This M-D Building Products 03723 9 ft. Black Rubber Garage Door Bottom Seal was a good replacement for my worn out (as in torn up) garage door bottom seal. The seal itself is just a tad longer than 9 feet, so it is perfect for a 9 ft. door. The installation was easy, in particular, because it comes with the nails and plastic washers needed to attach the rubber strip to your garage door. One recommendation to the manufacturer would be to increase the nail/washer count by one so that the distance between nails is an easy 6 inches, and not some odd amount.
