For the most part, this product does exactly what I needed it to do - hold my cell phone while being clipped into the vent.A couple of small problems though.The first is that the clips are very thick. I can't get them into the vent without squeezing the rubber padding.The second might be a matter of what phone you have. On mine, it doesn't grip the phone as securely as I would like. Part of that is definitely my phone case, and wouldn't apply to everyone, but I still can't help but feel that there needs to be some kind of lip under the phone to hold it. That would interfere with the charging aspect though, so maybe not.Still it's sturdy and holds my phone better than it has any right to under the circumstances. I just wish the clips were a little easier to get in.

A friend put a bug in my ear about getting one of these Qi type car Charger. The item is package nicely and comes with both the windshield mount and A vent mount. It also has an automatic feature that opens and closes the phone clamp when you put your phone close to the mounting plate. It took a couple of tries to get comfortable in the placement of it but it works nicely. It articulates up and down and side to side. It also has a boom feature to extend it forward or backwards to suit your depth and angle needs. It comes with a dual Outlet cigarette lighter adapter that can charge another device simultaneously. So far, overall I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Well... since the beginning at the first day I started to using this charger my Note 9 was released automatically twice and fallen over my feet while I was driving. I had to pool over to put the phone back on the charger. But the third time I decided to leave it out over the passenger seat.Now after two weeks using it I am about to return it because that behavior has been continued.÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷#This review is for the second one that I received three days ago. I returned the first one. This second one it's a different model and it's seems to be better. It has a better grip on the phone and on the vent.So far is working fine keeping charging the phone and holding it.So far so good. Let's see what happens in these next days.

Was great at first, has a very strong hold to the windshield but was not able to get it to stick to my dash (which is where I really wanted it) but held unit very firm and in place with little movement from arm. After a couple weeks and only a handful of uses it just stopped working. The power light was no longer lit and unit would not open or charge my phone. Returned for a refund.UPDATE 1/08/19Shortly after returning the product I was contacted by the KeeGan company and they expressed their sincere apology in the defective product I received and they immediately made it right. Not only did they replace and ship me a new charger free of charge, they sent me their new upgraded model which I have had for a couple weeks now and it works flawlessly.I order almost everything I own from Amazon and I have had both good and bad experiences but I can honestly say this is the BEST customer service experience I’ve ever received from a product I purchased on Amazon. I’m an old school kinda guy and customer service goes a long way with me. I understand quality control is not perfect in any company but when they stand behind their product and obviously value their customers that make all the difference in the world. I gave this product 4 stars only because of the issue I initially had but as far as customer service goes it’s 5 stars all the way! I would absolutely purchase from this company again and encourage anyone else to do the same.Andre

Relatively easy to install and after 3 weeks it has not dislodged from its mounting position. Charging is satisfactory as it keeps my Galaxy Note 9 fully charged while it displays the Google map on a long trip...It has a pair of retaining arms, one on each side that hold the phone. These are driven by a sensor activated by movement in front of the phone thereby easily enabling you to mount/dismount the phone. Unfortunately, when the phone is not docked, the sensor frequently self-engages perhaps sensing the movement of the steering wheel. For some reason, this is worse when it is raining- yesterday during a heavy rain storm, it was constantly cycling. Others have mentioned this issue but the solutions suggested are less than ideal- unplugging the unit or repositioning the mount's extended base. Either of these defeat the purpose of an automated mount where you can just drop the phone and go. Perhaps some adjustment to the sensor sensitivity can be added in a future design.

This product performed exactly as I anticipated. It mounts nearly to my vehicle and holds my phone perfectly. I like that it also serves as a charger. At first I thought it might be a little bulky but then after I mounted it I didn’t find it to be so. Along with awesome customer service and a worthwhile product I am happy.

I was really excited for this product and upon receiving the newer model it is everything I could have hoped for in a car phone mount. After they added the bottom portion to support the phone my iPhone XS Max is extremely secure and charges wonderfully even with a case on! They were very attentive to my complaints and followed up with me to make sure I had exactly what I needed. I would most definitely recommend this product.

Love the fact that it just works. Have not had any issues with in-intended opening/closing. Fits my iPhone XS and my wife’s in her case which holds credit cards. Nice that it also comes with the extra usb outlet and the travel adaptor. Good job!!
