Amazon Essentials womens Cotton Crew Socks with Light Cushioning

Good quality socks. Cotton is soft and strong. I've had these for several years and I think I've tossed maybe one or two pairs for holes. I used them every day and I have bought them in different heights. Over time, the black starts fading, but these do last. I had no shrinkage at all, despite countless washes. I use a commercial washer and dryer, so these get a beating. Our building dryer gets HOT. They're warm in colder months. I wouldnt wear these in the summer, because they're too thick. They fit well and stay up. I fold mine over. The fit is good (I wear a size 8 shoe). I wouldn't say these are "cushioned", but they're not thin. Not much else to say about solid black socks, but I do recommend these for everyday wear.

These socks are plain black socks, fit true to size, feel comfortable on my feet, just enough stretch in them without being too much stretch so they stay up nicely without feeling too tight after wearing them for a few hours, machine wash and dry nicely....what else can I say about socks? Perhaps one of the best thing about these socks is the TEN pairs for a truly great price so that I was able to share them with my husband, now we each have five new pairs of black "everyday socks" which we can wear with almost everything and he does not have to do the laundry until the end of the week

These have endured a lot of wear and washing. Comfortable - which is rare to find.

These are high quality socks! Definitely a step up from the cheaper brands. At a reasonable price. I would purchase again.

I have size 8 1/2 feet so I wasnt sure whether to get the 6-9 or the 8-11. Based on other reviews I chose the 6-9. They are a tad snug, but not in a completely bad way. I do get shallow lines in my skin and my feet can feel a little itchy for a minute when I finally take them off at the end of a long day, but they feel like a nice, firm, warm hug as long as I'm wearing them. Not what I expected, but I like it! I am also pleased with the overall quality. The color is a nice rich black and the lines are even. I actually do feel some cushioning on the bottom, which was a pleasant suprise. It isn't the kind of super-thick cushioning that will bunch up and get uncomfortable while walking. I'm not sure how to describe it, but the bottoms feel great on my feet! I'm pleased with the price as well. Normally I'd pay about 50% more for around 40% fewer socks. As for texture, they are reasonably soft, without being made of the kind of super soft material that gets holes in it after a dozen wears. I think they should hold up well, and will revise my review if they don't. So far, I'm very pleased with this purchase and will likely order again! UPDATE: Still love these and still wear them after 5 years. I have also bought more since then and have stopped wearing all of my old socks from other brands. Haven't gotten holes in these or had any problems. The cushioning does gradually decrease over time, but that is to be expected. I find that even the 5 year old ones are still more comfortable than an average sock.

Socks are ok but every time I take off after wearing for a day my feet have have black fuzz on them. No expecting them to last long. Would not purchase again. I little tight on ankles.

These are lovely socks, a good fit and very comfortable. They are nice and soft and are a good length both in the foot and up the leg. Good elastication and they wash up well too. Well worth the money and I will definitely buy them again.

My feet feel like they are in fire when I wear them with with boots, might have to double sock for a while. Otherwise quality is great and they look good.
