Good quality but larger than expected

Love it. All the pieces were perfect, no loose weights in them and no rattling. I loved the cloth board, foldes up into a very compact size. When opened up being cloth it lies perfectly flt. No visible or physical defects in anything. Extremely satisfied. The board was great, only complaint I might have is that it being cloth, it can slide, or get pulled. I would suggest some kind of other material that has some resistance that might be able go under it. But again am extremely happy with it.It is everything that was described when I ordered it.

If you are looking for a chess set that is pretty cheap and will make you feel like a 1960s chess prodigy, this is for you. I was looking for the chess sets that my public school used in our chess club in the early 2000s. The pieces are the same, but the "board" is a piece of cloth that you can fold up. It's super travelable and I love it. All that's missing is a cocktail and a hot counterpart.

I dislike that I didn't read the description well enough! I was expecting a thicker, rug like mat. This is more like a silk scarf. This isn't so bad in and of itself, it's just that as soon as I opened it up and laid it out, my cat, Jinx was on it. I won't be able to play as long as my cat is aware. This is a fault of MINE, as I did not read. All good, if you don't have a cat that likes to be in the middle of it all....And if you want a silk scarf for a chess board.

The mat is made of a cheap thin silk and the pieces feel very low quality. The bag’s drawstring is pretty bad as well. Don’t buy this for more than 5 bucks

Very good chess game. The pieces are large and with good weight. The cloth board is attractive and its measurements very acceptable. Low price.

If you are looking for large pieces chess set this is the right one. I am very happy with it. Seems very durable and the classic design on the pieces, makes the game very clear and easy to follow. The best set under $20!

Nice chess set for traveling. The plastic pieces are of good size and well made. The board is made of cloth and easy to fold. It doesn't wrinkle.
