Mazda CX-5 DRL Driving Daytime Running Light LED Kit OEM Replacement (2014)

These were a little hard to install but once we got it together it looked great. These daytime running lights looks very custom. I also like them for safety; having lights that are always on when the car is on means you are always visible. Living in the Pacific NW with gray weather this is particularly important. It may be the middle of the day but with grayness and rain you may still need some light in order for everyone to see you. Knowing these are there makes me feel more safe on the road.

Okay these need a real review so here it is:These come packaged well. Inside the universal box the company uses to package all their lights you will find the 2 replacement foglight bezels the wiring and a manual. Each foglight bezel is individually packaged and then the wiring has its own packaging as well.The quality i would say is just about OEM. The connections at the drl is hardwired to the led strip and shrink-wrapped to protect it against weathering.The way these work is the leds plug into the transformer box and the box connects to the battery and via its own set of wires. So you tuck the box inside your bumper then run wires up to the battery.Will these dim? Yes but you have to connect the white wire to one of the wires of the existing lights. Once you turn on those lights they dim. You connect the blue wire to your fog lights to turn them off while your foglights are on as the law requests. The dimming function you want to wire up to your headlights so they arent overpowering at night. The bezels just clip in the same way the original ones do. Be ready to remove the underbody panel below the bumper to reach the backside of the fog lightsPros: good quality! And works great! Bright white led colored light (about 5k)Cons: connecting to your existing wires is done via wire clamps. Also, instructions are vague and not specific to this vehicle! I think my directions in my review here are almost more helpful then the actual directions paperwork.Overall I would recommend this product and I would recommend you get it installed to save any headaches.
