Absolutely beautiful piece of furniture!
For those that mention difficulty in assembly, you're probably measuring difficulty on amount of time to put together. Yes, it took time but the directions are very cut and dry and the piece was easy to follow and put together. And as far as one reviewer stating that the drawers don't pull out all the way, i haven't had that problem. All drawers are smooth and pull out normally. Both of the pieces arrived together, but apparently some are saying it can arrive separately. The granite top comes separately from the base and its encased in a crate. Mine arrived in perfect shape. When you open everything up, yes, it can seem overwhelming at first, but get everything out and organize items in a semi neat fashion and get to it. It's really not that difficult at all and I'm a chick and put it together myself Lol.When I got towards the end of assembly, to the 2 wood top supports (part V) I couldn't find it. I was absolutely ticked! I thought it was missing. But I came on here and happened to read a review and the V part is enclosed with the granite top so don't freak like I did. This is an absolutely stunning and very sturdy piece! It looks like it was made for my kitchen. I took a few days to put it together because I used Tite Bond no-drip wood glue to glue every single dowel in the base. I let the base dry overnight and assembled the drawers etc. I wanted to give it extra stability, but not sure it even really needed it...can't hurt, right? Lol. I also used a pen to mark off what I had already done in the direction book so I didn't get lost. The granite top is heavy as F, I'd definitely make sure you have 2 people to lift it if you can....BUT, if you're a lady who doesn't have "man friends" easily accessible I actually just used the peninsula I have in my kitchen to be my helper. I leaned the granite up against my peninsula (you can see it in my photos) and lifted one end to slide it up on top of it. I then pulled the cart along side of the peninsula and slid the granite on top of the unit. Piece of cake.I am using the castors, for now, but I have seen complaints of them not being sturdy enough for the weight. I did not screw the granite top on, even though it's in the directions to do so, so I can remove the top easily when I get feet to replace the castors. Really, you don't even need to screw the top on....the weight of the granite is WELL enough to keep the top firmly in place. In the end, I am super pleased with this piece and am definitely happy I bought it! You definitely won't be disappointed either:)

Great Upgrade to previous version of cart with Granite Top
This is the second cart with Granite top that I have purchased from Home Styles. I still have and use the old one along the wall in my breakfast nook, but I wanted another one as an island in the middle of the kitchen for storage and counter space. The first one had a number of shipping and assembly issues, though at the end I liked the final product. I did review that one too. With this cart, they shipped in 2 boxes (one for the top and one for the cart) and dramatically improved the packaging, so the stone arrived intact, even though UPS stood it on the end, rather than on the long edge as the box indicates. The packaging also says made in Thailand. The hardware is so much nicer with this cart and the design was improved in that the drawers are so functional. It is great to have a paper towel holder, not just a regular towel holder. The first one is oak but doesn't look as nice and has two really short drawers (not as useful) just under the stone, with 3 door sections, and a towel holder. The assembly of this one is much more solid. The drawers are nicely squared and the material has better thickness so that once assembled, everything is smooth. The depth of the drawers is far more useful than for the other one. There is a bit of a gap on the floor of the cart to one of the sides that I couldn't get completely flush because it butted against the framing, but that is super nitpicking. We assembled it (2 people make it easier) in just a couple of hours. Cleanup after assembly is a bit of a pain because of the static and all the packaging foam. Be careful with the boxing boards for sharp nails and splinters, but necessary to make sure the product is intact.Overall, it is fantastic. Great kitchen cart to add storage and work surface to a kitchen.

Great cart, fits exactly where I wanted it to fill a spot.
I love this cart, I just finished putting it together and it went smooth as butter. All the pieces were there and all the holes were drilled correctly. Some pointers if you buy this. 1) You can tell the direction of all 4 drawer sides by looking at the 'rounded edge' of each piece. Also on the drawers, keep the wheel in the track to the outside and to the rear of the drawer. 2) Part "(v)" is hidden in the packing of the top, its wrapped in foam and looks like scrap if you dont look closely. 3) The center "walls" with the drawer slides attached have pegs on the bottom, not the top. and the slides face inward, this should tell you direction for those. Everything else has a different letter designation on it to tell you its position. I opted not to use the casters on mine after reading several reviews, if you do use them, do yourself a favor and use carriage bolts and washers from the inside through a drilled hole to lock nuts on the caster side. the tiny wood screws they provide for these are what causes the issue with them tearing out. I bought 4" solid wood feet to put on mine *the casters measure 3 and 3/4 inches from floor to plate. The cart measures 32" with no casters installed. I also chose not to install the condiment shelf and towel bar, my application did not have the room for this feature. Fantastic purchase, 5 stars.
