The tie rope is thick enough to use to tow a trailer. It must be some sort of practical joke, because it couldn't possibly be serious. When tied, it makes an enormous bulge. A shirt tends to straddle it, and hang down on both sides of it. If you put a shirt over it, if the shirt is loose enough, it looks like you are smuggling a kilo of contraband.As annoying as elastic is, this is a reminder of why we put up with it anyway. You have to tie this quite snugly in order to prevent it from slipping down. I want a solution to the elastic problem, but unfortunately this isn't it. Perhaps no such thing is possible. Disappointed.

Super comfy shorts. I bought these one size too big on purpose. I think if I ordered the right size for myself they might be a little tight around the thighs. One size too big is perfect, especially with the drawstring waist. I love that these are organic and are contributing to sustainable agriculture and soil practices.

I like the feel of these lounge shorts. (And I don't like pants/shorts that have unnatural fibers or chemicals). I have a waist 35" and purchased the L/XL. They fit me just right (I like a loose fit). However I wonder if this size would be too tight on someone with a 40" waist. Great for wearing outdoors in summer--cool and comfortable.

My order was small/medium. This would fit a extra extra large waist

this is the fourth product i've purchased from Cottonique. their stuff is always top-notch.

The shorts work great for doing anything active where comfort is wanted. I love the thick wide elastic waistband. Very comfortable for my build at 6'4" .

The shape of these shorts is very weird. Also the organic cotton tag was cut off when i received this product, which is a little fishy.
