WOW!!!
This screen far exceeded my expectations for looks and quality. I looked at HUNDREDS of ways to either build my own or buy the 'screen' portion and just make my own frame. I'm not even going to say it's great "For the money", because money aside it's far beyond what I could have pieced together in my shop. I've always been a home theater audio video kind of guy, and have been doing surround sound/Tv set ups for over a decade, and this screen is a no-brainer. and for $150...!!!?? Get out of here! Yeah I could have bought a cheap $40 screen and put my own time, labor and material cost in to built a wood frame with velvet around it, but that would have ended up costing more like $75 and several hours of labor, and STILL not look as good as this. It's got super thick screen material, 100% not see through, and a manufactured assembly that makes it super easy and light weight. Pro's - -It's fully black out very thick material. -Sturdy aluminum frame -Nice clean lines -Light canceling black velvet boarder so your projector doesn't have to be "PERFECTLY" square for viewing -Takes about 30-40 minutes to put together if you're semi handy -I have a middle of the road 4K projector and the picture quality is fantastic, especially being a 10ft screen size. So here's what you need to know for the set up side of things: #1 - My set up has the projector distance is about 13ft away from the screen (That's from the front of the projector, not the back) It fills it up perfectly with very minor overlap into the light canceling screen boarder. #2 - Installing this; Some people's reviews talked about the corners not sitting perfectly or something tweaked where two frame pieces meet. That's just poor handy-man ability. this thing is super strong aluminum framed, and If you lay it all out and leave the corner screws a bit loose at first, then come back and hold each corner where it needs to be while tightening down (I used a drill with an allen attachment instead of hand turning the supplied allen wrench... Way faster and easier to line up) It's that simple. no problems, its perfectly flush on all 4 corners. #3 - The springs take a bit of time, but it's light work. Do like the instructions say, and start in the middle and go back & forth and back & forth to each opposite side all the way around the whole thing. (Google 'how to stretch a canvas if you're confused. Same idea.) #4 - Center support; Get a friend or spouse... After all the springs are in place around the frame and screen it will be bowing 'inward' at the center, so you have to install the provided center support to stretch it back out. It's STIFF A.F. I did it by myself, but it would have been a lot easier with a 2nd set of hands. #5 - Mounting on the wall; They supply 4 corner brackets. I couldn't come up with a good way to have all 4 corners hold tight, so what I did was install the top 2 and tightened them down, then hung the screen, marked the wall in the bottom two corners, took the screen back down & measured up to install the bottom 2. LAST; *REMEMBER THIS IF YOU BUY THIS SCREEN* When mounting, there's no great way to get all 4 brackets tight to the wall and still get the screen to overlap them, so I left the bottom 2 brackets loose. They have slotted space for the screw to float up and down allowing you to hook the screen on the "loose" bottom 2 while lifting the top over those 2 brackets. It will hold it all nicely to the wall, while keeping the top level. Hope this helps someone out there cause I had a heck of time making a decision... But so glad I went this route!

Solid Buy
Easy set up and a solid beginner screen. Wished they had 135 or 150 sized screens.

Nice screen
Good quality, especially for the price. Set up and mounting weren't as bad as some of these reviews make them seem. I got it put together and mounted in about 30 mins. I only used two of the mounts at the top and didn't worry about the bottom.

Great Screen for the Money
I bought the 120" ShowMaven screen and I am very happy with it for the money. I set out to find a screen that had a frame and would look nice mounted on the wall in our basement and keep from projecting directly on the wall, without spending a ton of money. I did some research and read some reviews and seemed most reviews on this set up were positive so I ordered one. When it arrived it was very well packaged, everything was well protected and the screen was rolled not folded. Assembly did take some time but was very easy just takes time when assembling it alone, the screen is stretched and attached to the frame using a lot of small springs so the screen stays tightly stretched. Any one that has assembled a trampoline will be very familiar with attaching the springs. I started with just a few springs on each side so it was easier to stretch the screen to all sides and then just kept adding a few springs to each side at time until they were all attached. Mounting it to the wall was easy and straight forward with the mounting brackets that are provided with the screen, the frame is black velvet and as previous reviewer mentioned it does a great job of drowning out any light over shooting the screen. I couldn't be happier with this purchase for the price, it really gives our basement that theater look and feel we were going to for, and we have all really enjoyed watching movies and sports on it, and the kids love playing video games on the massive screen.

Amazing quality for a steal.
The feel and look this screen brings is just amazing. The black framed border looks clean. Just it sitting on the wall alone is a statement piece. I'm projecting from an Optoma HD26 DLP 1080p projector from 2015 and this screen has escalated the viewing experience. Coming from a DIY screen, and painted wall the picture brightness and clarity has improved dramatically. There is no comparison. I won't get technical so will let the pictures speak. If Amazon doesn't degrade quality, video is shadow of the colussus with some light bleed in the room. Provided another picture showcasing a bluray in full darkness as well as protection brightness difference between the screen and wall. Only complaints I have is the smell of the screen material as well as the fiber glass rod inserts. Use gloves when inserting them unless you want to get fibers stuck in your fingers. Overall though I do not regret the purchase for the price. If you are looking for a screen on a budget, look no further.

Great Screen for the price!
This screen is perfect for what I need. packaged extremely well, and the screen was rolled over a PVC pipe so no wrinkles. It's very sturdy and the build quality is excellent. There are tension rods which the springs grab onto be sure to leave some of the excess out of the screen when you slide them in. it helps with the corners and wont rip the screen The white makes the image pop way better than the bare wall I was using before. only thing I would say was the challenge were the springs. the tool they give you seems practical enough but the lip of the border wont let you pull the spring down onto the frame. Pro Tip: Take the spring ann instead of hooking it onto the hooked edge of the tool to pull vertically toward you, use the long flat side and use both hands to pull the spring horizontally to the mount, it's SOOOO much easier. I did notice that there was a slight wrinkle in the bottom right corner of the screen when fully assembled, but it was easy enough to fix. The kit comes with more Springs than you need, so I made makeshift holes in that corner and pulled it taught with 3 more springs. Mounting was pretty easy.. many people complained about getting the bottom brackets in place... I didn't bother. I hung the screen level on the wall with the top brackets into studs. But, the bottom kind of pushed/floated away from the wall. So, I took the screen down, glue gunned the bottom brackets vertically into the side of the frame flush with the back and then used those 3M hanging strips with the plastic velcro and pushed it against the wall. Done! No bottom bracket frustration.

What a difference it makes
It was actually quite easy to assemble but a bit more challenging hanging it up because the instructions for that part wasn’t clear. The picture resolution is enhanced with this screen and watching movies is like being at the cinema. If you are using a projector it’s worth having the proper projection screen.
