Amazing results for my health issue. A few months ago I had a bowel obstruction in my small intestine. I have a colostomy since 2023 as I have been fighting cancer. Due to blockage I had to get an ileostomy on my other side. (Sometimes life sucks). I had such high output my body wasn't getting enough absorption and dehydration almost killed me. I was in hospital for a long time running test to see what would slow down digestion. Doctor finally had me take imodium 4 times a day. This helped somewhat but I like natural solutions if at all possible. Saw this product advertised somewhere and finally decided to try it. I mixed it with water at first but didn't like the taste although not terrible. I now mix it with cereal and slight banana flavor is tolerable. This product has thickened my output just right! I no longer worry about liquid output and leaks and it's slowed my digestion enough that I am finally adding some weight so my energy level has definitely improved. It takes a lot to impress me but this has helped get my life back. Yes price could be better but one scoop a day is working for me.

I think I love this weird product. It was recommended by someone in my cancer chat group to help with chemo-related tummy trouble. I was doubtful (shouldn't I just eat a banana? aren't the oligosachharides the opposite of what the low-FODMAP diet says you should eat?) but gave it a try. It seems to be working. That's a big improvement in quality of life. I kind of like the weird taste. A tiny, tiny bit like a banana malted milkshake from back in the day. I stir it into water. (Tried it in applesauce, didn't like it - too sweet.) It is expensive - $39 for a small container that I'll go through in a week (at 2 scoops twice a day); a year of consistent use would cost $2,000. That’s a bummer. But relief from this particular side effect is pretty valuable. One caveat: I made other dietary changes at the same time, so it's possible the improvement is due to those and not to Banatrol. If I find out that’s the case, I’ll plan to edit this review.

My parent had gut issues and started using this once a day at breakfast time. About 2 weeks or a little more later, her issues improved and she kept using it with successful results for her. She liked the flavor and said it was easy to add to protein drinks, milk, and yogurt. She was working with her doctor who monitored her frequency and her issues.

Benadryl is really good for the stomach if you have some digestive problems. This one is banana flavored. You gotta mix it and stir it really well and get the lumps out before you drink it.

I dont write many reviews, but for this item it totally deserves it. I have been going thru some serious IBS diarrhea issues that started 2 years ago , got worse from there. It affected me throughout the day, but especially in the morning. It may be due to taking too antibiotics in the past for a stubborn infection. I was feeling hopeless because I was chained to my apartment unless there was a bathroom nearby. I e see a specialist and nothing they gave me helped and taking imodium on a daily basis I know for certain is not the way to go. I found Banatrol on Amazon, read all the reviews, ordered it and it started to work right away. I can now live my life normally and enjoyably on a daily bases without being chained to a bathroom. Yes, this item is a little pricey, but it is totally worth it and I love that the product is easy to use and has natural ingredients, regulates your system so that you can have normal bowel moments that do not have any side effects and no constipation. I just put a scoop in a 1/4 cup of oatmeal, add water, stir it and its easy to swallow and has a nice flavor. I cant say enough about its product. It does the job and you won't be disappointed. I wish I ordered this two years ago. It saved my life!

It works for the most part but damn the taste is less to be desired I tried drinking it and about blew chuncks because of the smell I'm very picky my girl no and we both added to apple sauce it's better but just swallow font try and taste it if it wasn't for the poop bug going around hell no I wouldn't touch it but we where at the end of our line till the doc came through with medicine but if I had to take for ibs or something like that kill me now I absolutely hate hate hate bananas period ever since a little kid but put up with this for some form of normalcy over every 5 min running to the bathroom

Works sometime but not every time.

Costly but does work and no blockage Wil def buy again. Small doses but total benefit and flavor good
