Tasty and fresh. Great way to have my favorite beef snack. So glad this is on Amazon - been looking online since online started.

These beef sticks looked like they were a great deal, I believe they may have actually been for dogs as they were not very flavorful or edible really. From other reviews they seem to be inconsistent so maybe I just got a bad batch but i don’t know if I’ll bother trying again.

Way too greasy for my taste. I only bought it cause Vienna beef is usually really good. At least hot dogs and such.Beef sticks not so much for me.Wasted money. Also if you do buy and like it. Hope you have a container cause this comes in just a product bag can't reseal.

I read some of the reviews that wrote of receiving moldy or bland tasting products. As far as the prior, it can happen that a batch goes bad. But, that's more a shipping issue, not a production. As far as the later; These are salami sticks, not pepperoni (or some other flavor), they should taste like good old fashion European dry salami. And that they do. There's a meaty/fatty taste, with just enough hints of spices to make them taste like salami should. (And there is no salty/metallic after taste...like too many have. It's a good blend of spices.) They are a carnivore's snack.I'm taking though one star away because of pricing. As far as a bulk shipment price, they are only slightly better than what a grocery store offers for a 3-stick pack.Lastly, in this page's advertising, it is stated that they are shelf-stable. Yes...and no. They're at about on par with butter. A week or two outside of a fridge isn't going to hurt them any. But, like all cured or smoked meats, they will dry out. Yet, at the same token, too much moisture (like a fridge) is also not good for them. I divided mine up into weekly portions, then froze all but one. Thus, the last one will taste just as good as the first one.

Great taste

When I was a kid in Chicago suburbs I’d get one Vienna Beef Stick when we’d pick up food from the deli.I haven’t had one of these in 30 years. Tasted just as I remembered them.This is probably more nostalgic for me than most purchasers and I’d purchase them again.
