updated review here dont buy at all
Really disappointed. Used for seedlings, I had this bulb in a clip lamp at 10 inches. They stretched badly. Finally stopped stretching at 7 inches, I continued to 5 inches. Thats about where I would be with a cfl, right on top of it. For my above purpose a 40 watt incandescent would do no worse if on top of it. So at best it's a wide range (according to package) maybe keep a developed plant alive way overpriced product. Would not recommend at all. Oh, and mine did intermittently buzz or hum a little.Update. I was not far off above. I confused this bulb with a regular household light led bulb! that what i wrote a review on above! Wow. well, discovered only by turning this one on, much bluer, but that is all. So this time seeds just pokin g throgh dirt, little temp leaves out,i put this bulb on them , 5 to 7 inches away in a reflect
