Looked at a lot of the IP-Stealing knock offs and after reading the reviews, went with the original Granberg. It's perfect. Checked the rails and parts, everything arrived square. They're extremely solid and durable. Assembly was easy and I immediately used them with my 1984 Stihl 038 AVS. The saw is only around 70cc (It's ported), but it weighs a solid 15 pounds. The rails had No sagging or bowing, either from their own weight or from the weight of the saw. I've watched many videos of dudes using ladders and 2x4s for the first cut. This seemed much easier. Lay it on the log. Adjust depth screws, check level, hammer dogs, mill. I'd say it took me less than 5 minutes from laying it on the log to reaching for the Alaskan Mill. I've seen some reviews indicating they only got one 5' section. I received a Granberg package with two 5' sections and the connector kit.

Great addition for the mill. Makes the most important first cut a breeze.

Although you don't need the rails, it's worth shelling out for them. It makes that first uncertain cut into a log a lot safer and ultimately gives you more confidence.

Be careful everyone, I did not receive what I ordered. Several missing parts, not shipped in manufacturers packaging, and only Amazon knows who is responsible for this mess i am dealing with. I seriously doubt this came from Granberg. Because the other order arrived in Granberg manufacturers packaging. I can not use two bent rails with zero hardware to assemble with.

Works good and is pretty easy to set up

I like the product but I did not like fact it did not complete with saw attachment and I have to purchase this item separately
