Great gun, easy to clean, no issues.
This gun was tremendously helpful with foaming my cantilever bays in my basement, just the right length. Plus, the swivel tip help get the foam into tight spots around my HVAC boots and connections in those very same bays. The coating on the gun makes it a breeze to clean off any foam that gets on it. I found it easier to remove if you wait about 10mins after getting it on, then it peels right off. Waiting till the next door, makes it harder. No issues with any of the cans leaking and I went through about 30 cans so far, only ONE car leaked, when I was threading it on, it was cross threading and activated the nozzle, quick reflexes got it fixed with only some foam leakage on the gun screw that didn't affect its operation. This gun is worth its weight for the extended abilities it offers.

Just received this gun today.
Here are my first impressions of this gun that I received today right out of the box. It was packaged well. No noticeable damage to gun. I shook a new can of Great Stuff for about 1 minute and installed onto gun adapter. The first thing I noticed was the adjustment wheel that adjusts the amount and bead size of the foam exiting the gun. Now with the gun in your hand and facing the crack you want to fill and you are looking down on the adjustment wheel to increase the amount and size of the bead turn the wheel counter clockwise. To decrease turn clockwise. It's the opposite for their shorter foam gun that they sell. The main reason I purchased this gun is I've had issues with the competitor ( Great Stuff pro 14 and pro 14 XL). They would get plugged up and I was following directions to the letter. This AWF gun is teflon coated which is a PLUS.The aluminum guns get dirty fast and I like to keep my expensive tools clean after usage.Well the gun is loaded and the barrel is full of foam and the regulator wheel is closed (rclockwise ). I will be using it tomorrow on the job and I will keep you posted.5/2/19 -NOT ONE ISSUE WHAT SO EVER WITH THIS FOAM GUN. IT NEVER PLUGGED UP AND WAS DEPENDABLE THROUGH MY WHOLE JOB. KEEP IN MIND YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS OR GAME OVER. ADDED BONUS........ IT'S EASY TO CLEAN

Amazing tool
It's cliche, but this really is one of those tools you never knew you needed. With this I was able to air seal all the top plates around the full perimeter of my attic floor. Any without poking a hole in my head with roofing nails! Going to use it in the crawlspace next...

Love the swivel tip. Control knob needs to be tighter.
Love the swivel tip. Makes it easier to get better angles to apply foam. For the truss on my attic floor, I can angle it so it points more directly toward the gap for a more confident fill. The 1 meter barrel means I don't have to do as much bending down and can reach for spots that would be hard to get too without it. Seems fairly sturdy for a long barrel.Only negative is the control knob. It is too loose and will move on it's own. Bump the gun against something or shake the gun too much when hopping from one position to another and you need to adjust it again, which wastes time and makes for a less consistent bead. 5 starts if a tighter control knob was on the gun. Either way, I'd still choose this over other guns.

Great purchase!
Really nice unit. I couldn't do my attic air sealing without it. Teflon coating is worth it! I have a smaller pro gun that I've used for over a year now and it's not Teflon coated. The buildup on the tip can be a bear to remove. With this Teflon one you just grab and twist. I also found putting a little oil/lube on the Teflon to make it even easier to clean.

Must have got a defective one. Exchanging for another try.
Ordered this for air sealing my attic. First gun had an issue with the threads causing it to want to cross thread cans of foam. I returned it and got a replacement that works great. Gun comes with a couple smaller slide on tips that I didn’t use… but could be handy. The pivoting tip was crucial for getting back into some hard to reach areas of my attic above the exterior wall top plates. It applies foam just as good as the smaller guns and it really doesn’t use much foam in the (long) length of the barrel. I kept a pocket full of shop towels and some great stuff cleaner near by and everytime I stopped spraying for like 30 sec or more, I’d spray the tip of the gun and wipe it down. This also reduced the mess. This gun does not drip like the canned foam straws. You can apply a very precise bead. Overall I would recommend this to anyone doing a similar project. If I could make one suggestion.. it would be a slight curve to offset the large can of foam on top that kept hitting the roof decking. If I do it myself I will update with how it goes.
