Art of the Dynamic Handgun: Magpul Dynamics [Blu-ray]

This dvd set is what every shooter should have in his or her library at there home. This dvd will give every bit of information on how to shoot from marksmanship, drawing from a holster, reloading techniques, position shooting, and more. But this does not subsitute actually training. But buying this dvd set will aid and give the knowledge and information to new and experienced shooters in preparing to go shooting schools and great entertainment. Plus the redhead girl in the dvd set is pretty hot.

This 4 DVD set is simply awesome. I would classify myself as a beginner to intermediate level shooter, and I found these DVDs to be very informative and highly entertaining. On top of all the great training content contained in the DVDs I would like to stress that the overall production value is extremely high as well, unlike most instructional DVDs you find. If you own or have watched any of Magpul's other training DVDs, you will not be let down. Personally I think this set is even better than the Tactical Carbine DVD set. The camera work, editing, and sound production is top-notch.The instructors featured in the DVDs, Travis Haley and Chris Costa, present the material in a clear and concise manner, and they break down all the drills, scenarios, and situations in way that is easy for a shooter at any level to digest. I really appreciated their focus on safety, efficiency, and consistency of movement.What I liked most about the DVDs is the diversity in the group of students that Travis and Chris are instructing. The group is comprised of various law enforcement officers, military personnel, firearms industry sales representatives, as well as civilians. The students in each of these categories obviously had differently levels of skill and experience as well as different types of handguns and equipment. It was really interesting to see how the different types of people worked through their specific problems and stumbling points.Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and will most likely pickup some of Magpul's other training DVD offerings.

If I could give this instructional DVD series 10 stars I would! Travis Haley and Chris Costa are two of the best instructers I have come across and both of these guys have exceptional skills and are fun to watch.Haley and Costa really cover a lot of stuff in this series from the basics such as grip, sight alignment, trigger control and follow through. As well as the various types of reloads, shooting on the move and shooting from various positions such as supine, urban prone, etc. There is a lot of good info on how to become a more proficient shooter, but also a ton of good information and wisdom regarding real life situations. The key to their teaching method is that all of it is geared towards real life situations.I have watched the DVD's multiple times and learn something new each time I watch them. The production is top notch and this series is very enjoyable to watch. I can honestly say that I have become a much more proficient shooter after watching these DVD's. Haley and Costa have set a good example and I know what I need to do to become even better. The only thing better than watching this DVD series would be trained by Haley and Costa in person.

So if you are looking up this video you probably know Magpul's reputation. They are top notch.I want to become a better handgun shooter, I also want to go to classes like the ones offered by Magpul and companies similar to them. But although I have had military training and have had guns for awhile I am not that great with a handgun. I purchased this video and the first volume of the carbine to get an idea of what they teach at these classesThe quality of the video is very good. The instruction given by the instructors is very good. Everything is explained out in detail. Go into the video with a blank slate, don't think you know more than them or whatever. Just listen to what they have to offer and see if it helps your shooting. I think I am going to try and watch this video the night before I go to the range and just practice some of the techniques they show you every time I go out. Once I feel like I am shooting better and I have the opportunity I might try an actual live class. These videos are good ways to see what to expect at the classes you could attend.
