Not quite the value I was hoping for
I have several sets of LED lights and recently I've been pretty happy with the GVM line, and I have friends that are satisfied with the Neewer line, but wanted to try these as they are a priced a little less and seem to have the features I was looking for. Just got a pair of the 900 LED lights the day before a shoot but the overall quality and fit and finish seems to be lacking, so ended up not even using them on the set. One of the read out displays of the control panels came cracked. The barn doors came attached on both lights but one of them they didn't finish attaching the doors which was odd. Overall the materials of the casing seemed like flimsy thin rolled aluminum vs. what looks and feels like sturdy milled aluminum on my other lights.I'm going to return these instead of an exchange. For the price if they didn't come damaged or not completely assembled I might have tried them out but I just don't want to try them again. Other reviewers seem to happy with the light output so for the price they do offer a lot of LED light so based on that I won't knock them too many stars, thus 3 stars overall.
