This is a classy and well-constructed wooden box for storing tea.- It was packaged with great care (padded on all sides with foam inserts and wrapped in a foamy type of plastic) and arrived undamaged.- It is well-crafted (heavy, sturdy wood; felt on the underside of the box so it doesn't scratch the surfaces it sits on; real glass panel instead of plexiglass or plastic; felt circles on the underside of the lid so that it closes gently; and quality hinges that open and close as smooth as butter and also keep the lid open while you're using it, instead of you having to hold it open for fear of it slamming closed, like some other tea boxes).- Perhaps most importantly, the compartments inside the box are large enough in all dimensions for my tea bags to sit either vertically or laying flat, and they don't get squished when I close the lid. I would say that each compartment can fit at least 14 large tea bags vertically while still allowing room for one on top to lay flat so you can see which type it is through the glass.- The dividers for the 6 compartments are built into the box and are not removable or adjustable, but this is not an issue for me because as I said, they are large enough to fit my tea bags (even Numi and Yogi brand tea bags).Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. The price is definitely worth it for the quality you receive. Sorry for the long review, but I wanted to be thorough as I spent hours on Amazon looking at reviews for different tea boxes so I could ensure I was getting a good quality one.

A beautiful gift and just the right size for my friends tea supply. Good packaging so the Tea Chest arrived in perfect condition ready to give to my friend. I agree that it is Premium Craftsmanship that makes an elegant gift. Wooden tea box’s surface is smooth, brown wood grain makes it more classic and with a scratch-proof velvet bottom to keep the tea chest intact.I like the high-grade perspective glass window design, and the cover is fixed with screwed gilded hinges opening angle up to 90 degrees, stable and durable. If I didn't already have a tea chest I would purchase this for myself.

I use this box to organize my tea bags. It’s very roomy. Built sturdy; the glass window is a nice heavy quality and is held in the box in a sturdy fashion so it doesn’t move around. It looks beautiful on my kitchen countertop. It was packaged very well; and packed to protect the glass. I highly recommend!

I like the design. I gave it to my sister for her birthday. I addedpacks of assorted teas inside the chest. She called me and was so excited and thankful. That made me happy.

While Amazon was out of the one I really liked, I chose this one instead. Very nice, actually perfect size looks great on my counter top and you can see the tea thru the top nice. I would definitely gift this to a tea drinker.

I purchased this tea box to keep my tea at work. Recently starting a diet for the new year, after lunch tea was a focus for me. This tea box arrived very well padded with about 1/2" styrofoam around the whole box. Nothing could damage this box during shipping the way it was packaged. Upon removing the box I was very excited to the weight of the box and the bottom fabric for scratch resistance. Opening the container I was delighted by the gold hinge accents. I purchased some new tea variety package, and all the tea was able to be placed into the boxes 6 different sections. The tea bags I purchases were oversized, I can see much more being able to be stored, but for my use this container was perfect. Overall I am very happy with the tea box and had some compliments from coworkers gazing over my tea bags. My only complaint is the branding on the front, it makes it look like a humidor. Other than that, very nice purchase.

Great tea box - well made and nice looking. Unfortunately my favourite tea comes in packages too big to fit. Had to return it but if you like tea with regular sizes packages, then it is great.

This wooden tea box really is lovely. Years ago, I was gifted The Bombay Company tea box, which was indeed gorgeous. Unfortunately, it broke and I have been looking for a reasonable replacement since. This tea box is a perfect replacement. Very refined and in good taste.

Just needed something to complement my Fortnum tea collection as a gift. Though the individual sections turn out to be larger than I thought, they accommodate tea bags of different sizes. I am glad I chose this model, this esthetically pleasing box is a delight to handle and if I were to have one for myself, it would want me to have a tea every hour on the hour! I have a feeling if you are choosing this for a gift, it will be appreciated.
