Carabiner - 3" Aluminum Carabiner D Shape Buckle Pack, Keychain Clip, Spring Snap Key Chain Clip Hook Buckle

I bought these to clip onto the wire holding the pool cover onto our pool. I then attach a partially filled gallon water jug to them. We get a lot of wind here in the winter and without the extra weight around the perimeter of the pool cover, I'm concerned that it might get pulled off. I only put about an inch and a half of water in the jugs which seems to be about right. I don't want to have them pull down with too much weight. I added about 10 jugs all the way around and it is working great. The clips make it easy to add or remove the jugs as necessary.

I was a little cautious about purchasing these as there were several reviews that said they were flimsy and broken, etc.I just wanted them for hanging some light weight things and using them to make my different key chains go together.My family has multiple vehicles and we swap vehicles based on who needs what kind of utility, passenger or good mileage. We each have our own collection of house, shop, business, etc. keys based on our different job functions and our own homes. So these are great for clipping two sets of key chains together and interchanging vehicle key rings and work key rings between each other. It beats carrying 2 or 3 key chains individually.It also makes it easy when you need to drop off a vehicle with the mechanic shop. Just pull the vehicle key chain out of the full set of key chains.Don't use them for climbing or hanging heavy tools from the shop ceiling but for anything that is only a couple pounds or less, these work great.

The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because I didn't realize the clip is blue, not silver.

If you're just looking for clips for a backpack, camp site, workshop, etc., then these are good value. Not sure how much weight I'd trust them with, but they actually seem quite strong. I'm just using them for camping and photography as quick access clips and they're perfect. Thanks!

These are nice strong but not strong enough to climb a mountain, but for everything else they are great.

These are very inexpensive and perfect for simple application to hold my daughter's epipen to her school bag. They aren't designed for anything more than light items though.
