I have purchased & received gifts of so many different coffee mugs. I purchased a pack of 2 of these a few years ago. They are still working great, but I wanted a few extras, so I ordered these two, I was not disappointed, they are fantastic just like my first 2. They heat in the microwave without handles being hot. Keeps coffee warm a long time.I plan to order 4 more to have plenty for guests & family. I highly recommend these mugs. You cannot go wrong. They also offer a larger size if you prefer, but I just prefer the 12 oz. Size.

These mugs are a great drinking vessel to keep things cold or hot. If your coordination is a bit off the lids keep liquid from sloshing out while you pick it up or when you carry the mug. The handles are a nice size for slipping my hand in, something important for a weak grasp. This size and style of mug has been used for years in physical rehabilitation inpatient units and used by occupational therapists to set someone up in their home to make drinking easier. One of the major suppliers of physical rehabilitation products used to carry mugs like this and a package of 6 lids to replace lost lids with. So here we have a product that is a great general thermal mug for hot and cold beverages - just a normal cup that has a deeper use that has served many for years.

We still have original Thermoserve cups with white insides that are now brown coffee stained. I use baking soda to clean them but they're stained and yucky looking so I bought a couple of these. The insides are black, which I like because they won't show the stains. The downside is they're lighter in weight than the originals (4.29 oz. vs 4.0 oz.) which tells me there's not as much insulation as the original brand ones. The performance shows as well. I like my coffee piping hot so I use the covers on these cups and that does a fair job of keeping my coffee hot for a bit.

I bought a coffee mug from Stop n Go convenience store 35 years ago. I still use it to this day, and it's sitting next to me now. If you bought the mug, you could get a refill for life for 35 cents. Well the mug has lasted far longer than the convenience store. I bought two back then and have them still today, but wish I could buy more. REI had what looked like the exact same mug so I bought two more of them for a rediculous price, and one of those walked out the door with a relative who won't be bringing it back. But it always seems like they are dirty in the morning when I want to use one so I really wanted a couple more. These cups look exactly the same with mold injection points and the tops are interchangable. I plan on keeping them at least 35 years. Well I am 72, so there's that.

Good product but I wish the interior were white instead of black. It's hard to know when the cup is full when filling in dimly lighted areas. Also, sometimes the lid doesn't seal completely and coffee leaks unto my shirt. I am careful to make sure it's tight and it works fine. It keeps the coffee hot long enough to finish a cup full.
