Attractive addition to my garden!
The decorative braces made putting together a garden box painless. I ordered wood from the local hardware store- 9 (2x4) boards with three of them cut in half for the end pieces. 2x4 boards are 8 feet long, so my bed is 4' by 8'. I sanded and stained the boards, positioned the braces on the spot that I wanted the bed and slid the boards into place. I lined the bed with weed guard, put a loose layer of river stones for drainage, and filled it with good potting soil. It really was and easy and fun project!

What a difference! Easy and beautiful!
I really like these raised bed corners. It's a brilliant idea. When I found out about them, the woman who invented them had just sold the desing patent to a large company. I finally found them on Amazon. I really wanted the dragonfly design, but found the sun ray design on sale, and decided to finally get them. We had an established two-tiered raised garden with a deteriorated wood frame. It took me longer to cut and disassemble the old, disgusting border than it did to assemble the new one. I pre cut and pre-stained the boards, and put down a new pea gravel border for the new wood to lie on. I used some 1 1/2" pavers to create (and hopefully maintain level under) the corners (we get a LOT of ground-heave.) It takes a little preparation to create a level area for the garden, but once that is done, the assembly with these corners is a beautifully easy thing! It looks a million times better now, and next will be the inner level. I would definitely buy these again. I wish they would have had the dragonflies on sale when I got mine, but I am happy with my new border, and highly recommend this product!

Broke before we could use it
Is this easy to useable install? Without A question, yes. However, after I picked up my 2”x12” boards, got them home, cleared out the space in my backyard to put the garden, took the brackets out of the box... and as we were sliding the last bracket onto the board the weld seam snapped! We’re incredibly disappointed in the quality. We hope this is just a one off situation, but we will still be contacting the manufacturer about this disappointing product.UPDATE: I contacted the seller. Great customer service. They sent me a new set. I’ve upgraded this review from one star to four.

Easiest and fastest way to making a raised garden
Very easy to put together as this does NOT need any nails or screws. Just supply the wood and slip them in. The braces are tall and wide enough to hold our 2 x 12 inch pressure treated wood boards. We love the great design and color too. We purchased 3 sets of 2 different designs. These instabraces beat any of the other products out there.

Will not fit 2" wood
Hi, We purchased 2 sets of these. They are cute. However, the directions says it fits 2" wood. It does not, we used 2" rough cut redwood. The directions and pictures show 2" wood.I believe they are directions for 1 1/2" wood. The info and pictures are misleading.I had to take it apart. I cannot use the Instabrace!!!The value for money, ( I can't speak to, obviously.)The sturdiness isuuse, is the same as above. I can't answer that as well. So, no stars for those 2 categories.

Beautiful, but not as functional as I would have liked. Still works, so far!
These are truly beautiful, but I would highly recommend screwing your boards together before putting them in these and attaching them. (Of course you need to level everything before you do this!). Two inches in wood measurements are always shy by about a quarter inch, (2 inches = 1.75 inches), so these are not snug fitting. We screwed the boards together at the top, but I feel it would have been better to screw them together at the bottom too.

Faulty description
Wish I could write a positive review because basically the corner braces are very nice HOWEVER....on the box and in the description, it clearly states that you can use ANY 2" piece of lumber up to 12" in height. I spent over $100 to purchase a 12" high rough cut redwood board 2" thick (actual measurement is 1 3/4") and it DOES NOT FIT! It makes the corner brace bow out at the top and the board will not sit flush to the bottom of the brace leaving a gap.I did call the company and they were nice enough but there is basically nothing they can do. Either I have to spend another $100+ to get thinner boards or send the item back. I'm sending them back.

Great Brackets! EASY & PRETTY!
I absolutely love these brackets! I plan to buy more to add more beds next year. Super easy to put together. Had Douglas Fir 2x12x16’s cut to fit. Came home, laid down some weed block, small wire mesh to keep out burrowing critters, put the boards in brackets & a couple screws in the pre drilled holes for stability and BOOM! Raised beds! Built a hinged hoop house frame and attached to top of one bed for fall crops too. Love these pretty dragonfly brackets. Shipping was fast also but they came on separate days.
