Our grandsons loved this Christmas gift. Highly recommend it!

My boys all love Diary of Wimpy Kid. However, there are only so many books in that series. This book was something that came up as similar to Diary of a Wimpy Kid. My boys love this book. I know there are more in the series and I am waiting for a good price so I can buy them.

My students really enjoyed reading the book while studying Ancient Greece. They had heard of the show/ books but had never read it.

My 9 year old son just started reading this series & he's hooked! If he loves reading it, I'm a happy Mom!

Excellent series of historical fiction with a time travel twist. Great for those reluctant readers!

I don't understand the high reviews for this book. We couldn't get past the first 20 pages. There is so much sarcasm and snark.If you want your kids to be smart-mouths, this is the book for them. These are just some of the lines from the few pages we did read:1. I wouldn't say you're a perfect idiot. Nobody's perfect.2. If you had to live by your wits, you'd starve.3. Something is preying on your mind. But don't worry. It will die of starvation.4. "Are you paying attention?" "I did once, but it wouldn't pay me back."5. We'd love to help you out. Which way did you come in?6. One of us is crazy. But don't worry, I'll keep your secret.7. Where have you been all my life? And when are you going back there?8. How can I miss you when you won't go away?9. I never forget a face, but in your case I'll make an exception.10. You have a face like a baby, and a mind to match.There is also Zeus making fun of his wife and hiding from her, etc. It's just not the kind of book I want our kids reading. I don't want to hear these types of statements coming out of their mouths, whether joking or not. These are the kinds of books I would read as a kid, and for a while I was quite the smart-mouth and not a pleasure to be around.While the story might be clever, there are other clever books to read that don't teach your kids how to be sarcastic and insulting.

The items were in great condition and arrived quickly. The children loved the adventure of the books.
