2 Non Ticking Clock Movements with 6 Pack Different Size Clock Hands, DIY Repair Parts Replacement, Battery Operated

This was so easy to install and set up. The old clock quit working and decided to replace it. This clock comes with many different type hands to fit many different type needs. This came as a set of 2 now I want to make something and put my own clock in it.

This quartz movement has a sweeping second hand. I installed it to replace an older ticking second hand and it worked out fine. Only time will tell how long it will last. So far so good. I was able to use the original hands from the old clock. This new set came with many different types of. Would buy again!

Great clockworks. Very smooth sweeping second hand, and absolutely quiet. The choice of clock hands should fit most clocks. Assembly was quick and easy. The purchase included 2 clockworks, which was not clear in the description and a very pleasant surprise. I was able to repair a second clock for the same amount of money. This clockworks was good quality and an excellent value.

I guess I won't know if this is *really* a five star item til it proves (or fails to prove) the test of time, but I'm impressed at how easy it was to select this as a replacement in a clock I'd like to keep, based on the stated measurements. It's all a bit daunting at first but come down to the thickness of your clock and the diameter of the dial, so that your hands will fit but not be too far out depth-wise or lengthwise. (Or comically short) It's been a month, and it's keeping good time, without the need for even a minor adjustment so far. That's the most important part. Assembly was straightforward and the instructions were very adequate. I liked the selection of different hands and I liked that most came with the sweeping seconds hand as well. I almost feel like I need to pick up another, otherwise good quality broken clock from garage sale-ing or thrift shopping so I can use the second movement set included here, but it's also nice just to have a backup in storage. Even a decent quality movement in a kitchen, as one example, will eventually succumb to the buildup of grease and gunk, but that really never has to be the end.

Whether you're making a custom clock or just replacing the movement in an existing clock, look no further, this is the best of the lot. Firstly, the packaging is logically constructed and insures that the product always arrives in perfect condition. Secondly, you get two complete movements for the price of one. That alone makes it a hell of a bargain. Thirdly, you get three complete sets of hands, all of different size and style, so you can best match the hands to your clock type. And finally, these movements are smooth running, unlike the jerky "ticking" type, which means they're quieter and put less strain on the mechanisms, making them much longer lasting. If there's a better movement of this type -- at any price -- I haven't seen it, and I've built a lot of clocks.

After having several of these in my house for a year, I had to take one down from the wall and partly disassemble it. I had mounted it to a 78rpm record. When I hung it back up, it took forever to get the thing to start running again after reinserting the battery. Then, a week later, it just stopped. Took it down, reattached the hands and it worked again. Still haven't figured out what the problem was/is. Of the 6 clocks I made, that is the only one that caused problems. Also, unless there is a cutout for the square clock body to fit in, the clock itself will turn any time you reset the time, such as for DST. Keeps time really well.

What a find! Extremely smooth and quiet operation with only one AA battery. I did have to adjust the minute and second hands slightly to not have them stick together, but that was no big deal. About 20 years ago, I had to buy only one unit to replace one that finally went bad -- and it was almost $30 from an online clock vendor. No complaints about this vendor's shipping who sells a quality product.

Works well and very quiet. Shaft was a “little” too long to fit under clock’s glass, so I couldn’t use the second hand. Instructions are so so, they didn’t make it clear WHEN to insert motor into clock face during the assembly process. The hands are silver on one side and black on the other. The black hands have a plastic film that needs removed before assembly (see picture), but that isn’t mentioned. Then they look really nice. There are 3 sets of hands of various sizes and styles that come with the kit. I wasn’t able to reuse the original clock hands because the shaft was a different size. This is a great replacement!

Good quality product. I have been using it for a while now and it has been accurate so far in showing time. I had ordered it as replacement for the existing wall clock machine as that was draining battery quickly. After replacement, I haven't changed the battery till now.

Quiet operation, no annoying tick every second. Accuracy as expected from a quartz movement. Although the documentation suggests you should use a carbon/zinc battery, the actually battery compartment says to use an alkaline battery. Has been running well for months on alkaline. Varied selection of clock hands included but you may also be able to adapt hands from existing clock if using this motor for restoration.
