So can you use 1/2-13 bolts instead of 12 mm?

The slots in both of mine are around 0.460" So you would be hard pressed to get a 12mm bolt into them, as they are only 11.7mm wide. The slots are not machined, just rough castings. If you want to use 1/2" bolts with these (or even 12mm bolts for that matter) you would have to machine the slots.

Hhip re: 3402-0203 slotted angle plate your drawing and photos show twelve (12) slots. will there be 12 slots in the angle plates i receive?

Mine only has 5 slots, 3 on one side and two on the other

Are the listed specs length, height then width? for example, is the 10x8x6 10" long, 8" high and 6" wide?

It is 10 inches wide 8 inches high and 6 inches deep
