Good idea.
The first one stop working after 3 uses. Lasser detach from stem. The Company reach out to me. I got a perfec working unit as a replasement. I do like to be able to add a Laser gide to my sawing machines. The fact that is magnetic I can move it to difrent machines. I also can ise it in my 15 needels embrotery machine to faind the center and out line of the proyect. Thnk's to Dave in customer service.

Easy to use
Very easy to use. Think the quality is good however I think the price could be lower.

Unit does not turn on and I have to pay return shipping for a defective item
The laser does not work, even after fully charging the unit per the package instructions. On top of that, I have to pay the return shipping cost for a product that is defective. That is rediculous for a defective item. When I discovered this, I decided to NOT buy a replacement unit. Vivilux, PLEASE get your act together: (1) test your units before shipping them to customers and (2) paying (or refund) the shipping costs for defective items. (Note that the unit appears to be physically undamaged and the charging cable does work.)

Works well except for stabilizing light
The laser works well but it is a little tricky to get it lined up correctly. I got some silly putty to stabilize the lamp and tht solved the problem of the light moving with vibration.

Would buy again!
This product is fantastic! It’s going to be a huge help when you’re making any diagonal seams. The magnet sticks on nicely, and I’m so glad I could skip the Velcro on my featherweight.

Wife does a lot of Quilting..wife likes it. Works well.

The jury is out on this product
I like the idea. But machine movement makes the laser line jump around. Will try to attach the plaster light itself to my machine to see if that fixes. If not I will return

Vivilux precision light
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Absolutely love this item. Chose the green for easier view of light on all items being sewn. The straight line has helped keep my stitch lines straight and precise because you can see the line on top of what you're sewing verses getting hidden underneath the stitch guide.
