Bad threads, doesn't mate to SO-239 easily
Okay, all these 5-star reviews are suspicious for a dummy load that has such poorly cut threads. One other reviewer mentions this, and it is real. It really makes me wonder if the 5-star reviews from supposed Hams are real- we don't tend to gush over equipment that tries to wreck our radios. Either the threads are cut poorly, or the center conductor is too big, or both- you'll need pliers to get this on a standard SO-239 female connector. The other reviewers also don't mention another issue- the size. The diameter of this dummy load is big enough that you're not going to get this on the back of a radio like the Icom IC-706 or IC-7100 if the other antenna on the radio is connected. It just can't fit next to the other connector.I almost sent it back, but I needed it just to function as a protective device on the VHF/UHF side of an Icom-706 that I use only for 6m SSB/Digital work. I attached it to a 4" RG-8 jumper (had to use pliers to thread it) and installed the jumper on the VHF/UHF antenna connector, sticking out the back of the radio. It's only there to prevent damage if the radio was inadvertently set to 2m or 440 and keyed.I would NOT recommend this dummy load if you intend to install it directly on your radio- you'll probably ruin the threads on the rig's SO-239 if you do. My sacrificial RG-8 jumper made it work, but this thing just isn't a quality piece of equipment any Amateur wants to rely on.Also, don't be fooled by the specs. If you're shopping around for one of these you will, no doubt, see that the specs and picture look identical to the dummy load from MFJ, only this one is a little cheaper. I have no experience with the MFJ model, so I can't say if it would have the same threading defects, but if I had a more critical need for a good dummy load, I wouldn't consider this one.

Gets pretty warm
It does get hot when pushing over 100W into it. But seems to work fine

Restrain that rogue RF
I'm a licensed ham radio operator who needed a dummy load for a portable radio go-kit I was building. So, I went online and came across the Fumei DL-30A Dummy Load. The main selling point for me was the overall size of this product, and excellent price point.I did not have much room in my go-kit towards the back, and needed a short dummy load. This product fits the bill perfectly! It is well constructed, was easy to install. So, if you're in the market for something which will protect your radio when you have your antennas unplugged, and you don't want to break the bank. Look no further!

Not 50 Ohms
It actually measures 54.6 Ohms using my Fluke meter. Ten percent accuracy is a non-starter. Also, the threads were so poorly cut that threading it onto the SWR meter was very hard. Poorly manufactured.

Does as it says!
Away's test with a meter before you hook it to your radio. This one was good.
