Dritz3300 Quilter's See-Thru Drafting Ruler, 2 x 18-Inch

It’s my favorite ruler, but I wish it were more sturdy.

I have been sewing masks for several months, and think I have enough to move on to my next project. I have a sewing project for charity that I will need to cut fabric into 15 inch lengths. Most ruler are only 12 inches. Since I will be mass producing the item, I want to be able to make the cut in one pass without having to move the ruler. This is going to work.

Very accurate and easy ro read. I'm careful to not break it because it's not thick. It's kind of bendy and I'm not trying to see how flexible it is.

Thickness isn't what I expected. Bends easily especially if you aren't careful where you store it.

I was hoping this ruler would give me another option when cutting out my quilt pieces. I was disappointed with the thickness of this ruler. It is not sturdy and easily moves when using a rotary cutter. I would not recommend this ruler except as an extra in case you lose your favorite.

This ruler is easy to slide around on the fabric in cutting. It could use white numbers that stand out more, but otherwise it's perfect!

The red print is hard to read and the plastic is really flimsy and bends too much. It works; it could be better.

I had a ruler just like this one for many years, about 20 or so years, but with time the numbers on the ruler were fading, and since I work with this ruler all day, (I am a patternaker) it was an absolute necessity for me and I am very happy to have found it at amazon, although I think it was a little too expensive with shipping added to it and all, but when you need something, especially a tool for work, well I am glad I found it. I Love this ruler and I recommend it to anyone looking for one.

For pattern drafting I like an imperial ruler marked only with inch and its increments. I pick it up and do not need to rotate it away from the metric markings. Makes me more efficient and exact. I have searched for more than a year to locate this ruler!
