Others have written about there not being a hole for the tab on the baseplate but if you put the bracket on TOP of the baseplate of the original bracket (as shown in the pictures) instead of underneath, then you don't have to cut or modify the bracket.However, the diameter of the hole in the aluminum end piece is too small for the pin. Fortunately the pin is steel, so just push really hard and twist it and it will ream the aluminum end piece until it fits. So, not a perfect fit, but able to make it fit with a little work. Worth it for the price.Also the aluminum end piece doesn't have the shape shown in the pictures - it is just like every other one out there. I bought this one because of the pictures - it looks like there is more aluminum on the end piece and would be stronger, but, no...

website says this doesn't fit but there are no changes to the seats from 2019. installs easily but the strap to grab to open is too short. i added some cord to it to make it easier to pull to release. it might be the truck itself, but closing the seat take a good hard slam to get it to lock. worth buying for the price as trying to open the seat is a real pain without this.

Good quality. Equal to the units costing twice as much. Only hitch: not a perfect fit for my 2020 F-250. Looks like Ford has added a locating tab to the closing mechanism that wasn't there in prior years. I needed to cut an opening for this tab to allow the unit to fit. Looking at the other brands on the market, they don't seem to have an opening for this tab either. I still recommend this release.

Easy to install after drilling a hole in it for the tab on the original latch. I guess you could hammer down the tab, but drilling the hole took just a couple of minutes at the drill press. If the hole had been factory drilled this would have been an easy 5 all the way.

Purchased for 2019 F150, the latch on the back of the seat must be a little different althought it looks the same in the listing picture. I had to grind the end of the red aluminum pull hook to make it thinner in order to make it work correctly. Otherwise it works great. I tried to buy the built right USA one but its been out of stock for a while.

Once I managed to unlatch the seat, it was a snap to install. I added a bit of woven paracord to the tag end to make it more visible and easier to pull and unlatch. Great upgrade that Ford forgot to add.

Works great so far on my 2019 F150. Had to hammer the clasp into the pin, but I'd rather have it tight than loose. Easy to use now - definitely worth the $13 to have a little trunk space for tools out of sight.

I’m giving 5 stars even though I had to return it. I just bought a 19’ F150 XLT Supercab. Rear seat latch wouldn’t re-attach after I installed this product. I think it’s quality is very good just didn’t work in my truck
